  1. East German language: nominated at AfD; notified Xx236 (talk · contribs) 11:49, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Declined speedy G1, this strangely worded piece of SYNTH/OR attempts to create some distinction between the vocabularies of post-reunification East Germany and fails to do that or much else. IMHO, it needs to go.

June 2021

  1. Cartoon Watch: nominated at AfD; notified Varsha1990 (talk · contribs) 12:04, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG, tagged for notability since last year; virtually zero coverage in RS, created by blocked user. Even when you allow for the fact that most search results are for watches with cartoons on them, there's nothing out there to establish notability. The article's sources don't do that, of course.
  2. Rony Tan: nominated at AfD; notified Singaporeano (talk · contribs) 12:49, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: This was sort of inevitable. Nommed for A7 (by me) when it was a four-line stub, previously deleted, nommed for G12 late last year, this is an article about a totally non-notable person, who once achieved limited coverage for saying some daft and mildly unpleasant things. Fails WP:GNG let alone anything else. Now off to nominate Lighthouse Evangelism, too - his 'church'. Note Reuters blog as a source, Straits Times is a 'mirror' to 'Buddhist Door' which appears to misrepresent ST as a source (it doesn't link). Basically bunkum and cruft.
  3. Lighthouse Evangelism: nominated at AfD; notified Idaho.potatoes (talk · contribs) 12:52, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Virtually unsourced article about non-notable 'church', stood up on their own website and a single story about a non-notable 'controversy' - have also nominated Rony Tan for deletion. Most coverage found in search was WP-derived.
  4. Piyadasa Ranasinghe: nominated at AfD; notified Gihan Jayaweera (talk · contribs) 14:12, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Party apparatchik, never voted into or held public office and therefore fails WP:NPOL. Bibliography not referenced in article, dubious whether sources are RS in any case. Books search throws up an academic, not this gentleman.
  5. Stars Align (R3hab and Jolin Tsai song): nominated at AfD; notified Pieceofmetalwork (talk · contribs) 14:21, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: DePRODed by article creator, so here we are. Claimed in edit summary that this record has a chart place but that's not in the stub, and I can't find it. Meanwhile, it's all sourced to Yahoo, a website and a passing news mention of the upcoming single. Fails WP:GNG; WP:NALBUM.
  6. Sarah Kliff: nominated at AfD; notified Gregoryadapter (talk · contribs) 10:17, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG, no independent coverage, a perfectly sound journalistic career but no notability per WP:JOURNALIST.

June 2022

  1. Janet Kennedy (designer): nominated at AfD; notified E mln e (talk · contribs) 09:57, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not notable. An obituary in The Guardian doesn't push us past WP:BASIC "significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources". She worked for a company who made kids' clothes.
  2. Makenna Kelly: nominated at AfD; notified Somers-all-the-time (talk · contribs) 09:59, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Influencer. No evidence of notability. Does not pass WP:GNG.
  3. Sysbench: nominated at AfD; notified Gregwire13 (talk · contribs) 10:08, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Linux benchmark utility, does not meet WP:GNG.
  4. Nationalist People's Movement: nominated at AfD; notified NFSreloaded (talk · contribs) 13:07, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Marginal far right group, split from National Alliance and arguably should be a footnote on that article. Lacks significant mainstream coverage, fails WP:GNG.
  5. Siavash Esmaeili: nominated at AfD; notified Afsane1369 (talk · contribs) 13:41, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Problematic article. For a start, there's no article in Farsi, which seems odd for a prominent academic and scientist. And there are no papers. And the sourcing/citation is odd and the sources are marginal and often questionable as to notability and just everything about this article is so very 'off' that it just screams AfD. Fails WP:GNG; WP:BASIC and, most tellingly, WP:NACADEMIC.
  6. Tammy Hostetler: nominated at AfD; notified BlackAmerican (talk · contribs) 13:50, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: All awards mentioned in sources were awarded at junior level, sourcing is scanty at best, no mainstream media coverage. Fails WP:GNG; WP:BASIC.
  7. Anthem In: nominated at AfD; notified JoePaLives (talk · contribs) 14:15, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: No sources given in this 2011 long-tagged yet unimproved throwback and the band's website domain is for sale. The web yieldeth nothing. Charting at 118 cuts no mustard - fails WP:GNG; WP:BAND.
  8. The Briefs: nominated at AfD; notified 217.236.248.246 (talk · contribs) 14:25, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Absolutely no evidence of notability whatsoever. No citations, tagged since 2018 and promotional in tone. It's incredible this has been around for so long. Deleted, moved to draftspace, returned - it just refuses to die. No significant coverage, no chart placings, just no. Fails WP:GNG; WP:BASIC; WP:BAND.
  9. Jacob Ming-Trent: nominated at AfD; notified Dw122339 (talk · contribs) 07:14, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:NACTOR - "Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions; or
Has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment." No significant coverage presented, BEFORE shows nothing very much out there to add. One award ≠ notability.
  10. Daniel Silverman: nominated at AfD; notified Pirhayati (talk · contribs) 14:11, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:NACADEMIC. Single work cited and that a 'critical introduction' rather than ground breaking research that "has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources" - those sources missing from this article and, indeed, search (who knew there were that many Daniel Silvermans in academia?). Also fails WP:GNG.
  11. Peter J. Wacks: nominated at AfD; notified Emanuelrodriguez232 (talk · contribs) 14:24, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG, WP:AUTHOR at "The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors" - no significant coverage, reviews - no mainstream media cited and none found on search.
  12. Our Republic (Scotland): nominated at AfD; notified TrinePGTL (talk · contribs) 14:39, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG - no significant coverage, no real proof that we actually have a 'thing' here, sources cited do not add to any argument of notability for the 'Our Republic' movement or its impact or activism.
  13. Life House: nominated at AfD; notified Alessandra Boccone (talk · contribs) 14:43, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Overly promotional article stood up on finance news pieces and passing mentions. Company is not notable, fails WP:ORGSIG, "A company, corporation, organization, group, product, or service is presumed notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject."
  14. Milly Rock: nominated at AfD; notified Blue Ninjakoopa (talk · contribs) 14:57, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Song by redlinked rapper, no evidence of notability. Fails WP:GNG; WP:NSINGLE.
  15. Fynn Kliemann: nominated at AfD; notified Ozimatli (talk · contribs) 15:01, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: YouTuber, lacks credible sourcing, fails WP:GNG. Promotional.
  16. Tantacrul: nominated at AfD; notified Sylvester Krakow (talk · contribs) 15:57, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: What a page history. Consistently questionable. Deleted, refused, AfC fail, AfD-worthy and now we're back here again, with a poorly sourced entry for a WP:GNG failing Youtuber whose only claim to notability is presented as his use of Audacity and MuseScore. It's not enough to get past the line and this time I'm asking you, ladies and gentlemen, to Delete and Salt to boot.
  17. Kendall Qualls: nominated at AfD; notified RuralRansom (talk · contribs) 05:31, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Candidate for nomination as candidate for Governor. Not elected to office. Previously unelected. No other notability, fails WP:GNG; WP:NPOL and WP:POLOUTCOMES.
  18. Alex Lasry: nominated at AfD; notified FoxRedLab (talk · contribs) 06:08, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:NPOL, notability not inherited from father, unelected as an official. Page contains large amount of suspect COI/UPE, created by likely SPA. Coverage largely local and largely passing mentions, fails WP:GNG.
  19. Madd Rod: nominated at AfD; notified João P Afonso (talk · contribs) 06:12, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:BAND; WP:SINGER no chart positions, no significant coverage, no evidence of notability.
  20. Zhopa: nominated at AfD; notified Soglasun (talk · contribs) 06:18, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Apparently Zhopa in Russian means 'asshole' which is something new learned today. Fails WP:GNG; WP:NALBUM, no significant coverage/evidence it charted/notability.
  21. A-Sketch: nominated at AfD; notified 2804:431:D729:EA35:5C98:BD61:95F3:DD93 (talk · contribs) 06:50, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG - Japanese artist management agency with no significant coverage and no notability in evidence either as a business or as a record label in its own right.
  22. Asha Daudi Abinallah: nominated at AfD; notified Juma Sadala (talk · contribs) 07:05, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Should have gone with A7 but there's one US press association interview that probably would have kiboshed that, so here's the AfD. Fails WP:GNG no evidence of notability.
  23. Michel von Tell: nominated at AfD; notified BIanca617 (talk · contribs) 09:55, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; no notability demonstrated, passing mentions/owned media or press releases. He plays poker.
  24. Analytics India Magazine: nominated at AfD; notified Ajithpithu (talk · contribs) 10:07, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Tagged as speedy, tag removed so here we are. Not notable, no notability presented, sources are incidental to subject for this one-line article about a one-horse website. Fails WP:GNG; WP:WEB; WP:ORGCRITE.
  25. Negus Nurse: nominated at AfD; notified Capture2015 (talk · contribs) 10:16, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Promotional article, possibly UPE, incidental mentions in scant coverage. He runs a tattoo parlour, but fails WP:GNG; WP:SINGER.
  26. Henrik Gottlieb: nominated at AfD; notified Docent Jan Pedersen (talk · contribs) 10:22, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: A translator and undoubtedly a fine one at that, but no WP:SIGCOV presented and no WP:GNG notability. He was a translator and a teacher, but that doth not WP:GNG pass.
  27. Gottfried E. Schmitt: nominated at AfD; notified Hdolf (talk · contribs) 14:07, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:BASIC. Founded a wine estate, no longer owns it. And that's that, really. Owning a vineyard is a desirable thing, granted, but it's not notability.
  28. Priscilla Nyadoi: nominated at AfD; notified Micheal Kaluba (talk · contribs) 14:35, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not notable academic, fails WP:GNG; WP:NACADEMIC. Possibly UPE at work here.
  29. Polish National Catholic Church of The Holy Cross (Brooklyn): nominated at AfD; notified CaptJayRuffins (talk · contribs) 06:30, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: WP:NCHURCH and WP:NBUILD guide us here and an individual church with no other claim to notability is not considered inherently notable. Added to that, here we have an individual church that is no longer - it has been demolished. The article is about the building, not the splinter faith which is partly conflated in the article but which has its own page. Take out the faith content (repeat of the PNCC article) and you have a building that is no longer.
  30. Derby Assembly Rooms: nominated at AfD; notified Thriley (talk · contribs) 06:40, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:BUILD. The only notability presented here is one local, one trade and and one national media clips, all related to its forthcoming demolition.
  31. Donovan Melero: nominated at AfD; notified Xundr1992 (talk · contribs) 06:59, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:SINGER - no reliable sourcing here, we have Facebook, Reddit, a blog post and owned media. The group Hail the Sun is arguably notable, its singer is arguably not.
  32. Almost September: nominated at AfD; notified Nohayunolibre (talk · contribs) 07:09, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:BAND. Coverage presented is passing mentions, catalogue entries. One record didn't chart. One performance mentioned.
  33. Tara Kishore Chowdhury: nominated at AfD; notified Srabanta Deb (talk · contribs) 07:25, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Absolutely no sourcing to this problematic stub. Twice draftified, the Santdas Kathiyababa article (his name as a monk) was duly deleted and this one needs to follow suit. Fails WP:GNG.
  34. Alatau (sanatorium): nominated at AfD; notified Kooljohn (talk · contribs) 10:38, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Former sanatorium currently a Swissotel. No indication of notability, fails WP:NBUILD, "may be notable as a result of their historic, social, economic, or architectural importance, but they require significant in-depth coverage by reliable, third-party sources to establish notability."
  35. Arasan (health complex): nominated at AfD; notified Kooljohn (talk · contribs) 10:41, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Bathhouse in Almaty, fails WP:NBUILD: "may be notable as a result of their historic, social, economic, or architectural importance, but they require significant in-depth coverage by reliable, third-party sources to establish notability."
  36. Mohamed El Sahili: nominated at AfD; notified Sam sls (talk · contribs) 11:18, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Very poorly sourced, not in any way notable by WP standards. Fails WP:GNG; WP:BASIC; entrepreneur with cafes feels like UPE.
  37. The Local (magazine): nominated at AfD; notified Fadl.nabbouh (talk · contribs) 14:03, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:WEBSITE. No significant coverage presented, no major awards. Before we start using the Digital Publishing Awards cited, "a well-known and independent award from either a publication or organization. Ideally, this award itself is also notable and already has a Wikipedia article." and these awards don't have a WP page and they confer $500 on their awardees which doesn't sing 'major' to me.
  38. GovExec: nominated at AfD; notified PRRfan (talk · contribs) 14:07, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Clearly fails WP:GNG; WP:NCORP. That's all there is to say here, really.
  39. Justin Waters: nominated at AfD; notified Waters.Justin (talk · contribs) 14:10, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:NPOL. Not elected, puff page, no significance, no notability as a lawyer, politician or drive through wedding practitioner.
  40. Peter Bond: nominated at AfD; notified Theronswanson (talk · contribs) 13:16, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: The chief claim to notability that is made in the lede of this article is that the subject is wealthy. The sources are passing mentions of humdrum events in the main, with one or two weak sources presented, the 'Who's Who' entry isn't actually one, for instance - it does rather feel like Mr Bond has shelled out a few of his many hundreds of millions of dollars and had a page made for him.
  41. Emily Hall Tremaine: nominated at AfD; notified MJL (talk · contribs) 13:23, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Wealthy woman collects art, publishes society magazine. That's the content presented here in all of two lines. Not notable, fails WP:GNG.
  42. Ahmad Noorani: nominated at AfD; notified Ainty Painty (talk · contribs) 13:25, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Pakistani investigative journalist, only notability here is that he was beaten up. While reprehensible, I believe it does not confer notability. Fails WP:GNG.
  43. Linus Idahosa: nominated at AfD; notified Azeez Okeyale (talk · contribs) 13:27, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: "...a major player in Africa’s creative and entertainment industry", passing mentions and interviews presented as notability for this non-notable owner of a media, PR and creative agency.
  44. Rauf Arifoghlu: nominated at AfD; notified Samral (talk · contribs) 13:33, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Sent to draft by OneI, uncited material removed from article, material was banged back in by creator and plonked into mainspace in its original condition. Founder of redlinked newspaper and media group, runs redlinked magazine, given redlinked awards. No public service, no position held, founder of re-established party (founded in 1911) he then leaves. It's all very, well, marginal. Fails WP:GNG; WP:NPOL.
  45. Sica Ho: nominated at AfD; notified Prince of Erebor (talk · contribs) 13:38, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG, WP:ACTOR, WP:MUSIC. No records, no chart placings, no film roles, one appearance in a redlinked reality show. Contestant No. 12 is not notable.
  46. VIDA (online retailer): nominated at AfD; notified LeepKendall (talk · contribs) 11:59, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Business fails WP:NCORP, WP:GNG; an apparel startup with no in-depth, significant coverage beyond routine funding announcements and pieces about facemasks. No notability presented.
  47. Ian Reid (skateboarder): nominated at AfD; notified JohnWilsonWilson (talk · contribs) 12:10, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Single source in article, tagged for notability since April 2022. The defining line in the article for me is, "His photojournalism career started at The Fader and has led him to document some very important moments in history." - this is not notability and there's none on display here. Fails WP:GNG, we don't even get to WP:ARTIST or WP:FILMMAKER.
  48. Batya Ungar-Sargon: nominated at AfD; notified Thriley (talk · contribs) 12:17, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:AUTHOR. Journalism career unremarkable, writing for a number of titles doesn't make you notable. Book 'Bad News' has a limited number reviews by book review websites but no major media. Sourcing problematic (The Daily Beast is a contribution from her etc etc) - including her dissertation, for some reason.
  49. Jake Riddell: nominated at AfD; notified David Fairgrieve (talk · contribs) 14:33, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Screenwriter, producer and story consultant, fails WP:GNG; WP:FILMMAKER; WP:CREATIVE. No coverage presented that addresses any notability of the subject, sources are all reviews of works which subject contributed in some way to. Nomination for BAFTA is not award of major award. No independent notability.
  50. Mihajlo Vučetić: nominated at AfD; notified 216.174.94.172 (talk · contribs) 10:09, 16 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG, grain merchant and shipowner who founded a shipping company and was a Lloyds shareholder is not notable. Passing mentions only (namechecks) in sources, no in-depth coverage or historical notability established.
  51. Halloweens: nominated at AfD; notified Brigantics (talk · contribs) 05:12, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: NME has actually written about this collaboration twice, with another interview published in 2020. However, that's about it - no other coverage for what appears to be a relatively non-notable side project from two members of a notable group. "Written about non-trivially by multiple reliable sources." Fails WP:GNG; WP:BAND. Already amply covered, BTW, in The Vaccines' article.
  52. Colorado Film: nominated at AfD; notified MegaSmike46 (talk · contribs) 08:25, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable subsidiary of Viacom Italia, fails WP:GNG; WP:CORP tagged for notability since Feb 2022 now here we are.
  53. St. John Vianney School: nominated at AfD; notified Abhay12253 (talk · contribs) 10:17, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: No notability presented, none inherent. Poor sourcing, mad photogallery. Fails WP:GNG; WP:NSCHOOL. WP is not a school newsletter.
  54. Alf Lawrie: nominated at AfD; notified Tommy3121 (talk · contribs) 10:20, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG, non-notable as head of factual entertainment at UK's channel 4, page is a tad promotional, at that. Sources presented are tangential or run of the mill announcements.
  55. Steph Hodgins-May: nominated at AfD; notified Playlet (talk · contribs) 12:53, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:NPOL - an candidate unelected to any post of public service. Arguably also fails WP:GNG, coverage is routine political announcements, interviews, stories about her parents, trivial.
  56. Through the Madness, Vol. 1: nominated at AfD; notified QuietHere (talk · contribs) 12:59, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: EP release. No chart position, no significant coverage, fails WP:GNG; WP:NMUSIC.
  57. Aarght Records: nominated at AfD; notified Jimmyjrg (talk · contribs) 13:11, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not notable Australian local specialist punk record label, now defunct. Fails WP:GNG; WP:ORG.
  58. Jean Balamba: nominated at AfD; notified CBJH (talk · contribs) 13:15, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Soldier and museum guard, in no way notable, no extensive coverage, no in depth coverage - in fact, no coverage. Fails WP:GNG.
  59. Sarah Forbes (cricketer): nominated at AfD; notified Mpk662 (talk · contribs) 08:02, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG; WP:SPORTSPERSON, "A sportsperson is presumed to be notable if the person has won a significant honor and so is likely to have received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Sports biographies must include at least one reference to a source providing significant coverage of the subject. Meeting this requirement alone does not indicate notability, but it does indicate that there are likely sufficient sources to meet the GNG (general notability guideline)." No significant coverage presented, search only uncovers listings.
  60. Melissa Malzkuhn: nominated at AfD; notified Borgwove (talk · contribs) 08:07, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Sent to Draft, banged right back into mainspace. Fails WP:GNG, sources presented are interview or non-RS such as Obama Foundation website, Forbes Sites.
  61. Matt Peet: nominated at AfD; notified Nathancroucher (talk · contribs) 08:19, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG, no significant coverage, coverage is passing mentions or local media reports. Coach = not automatically notable. Sent to AfC, declined, brought back to mainspace but still problematic - otherwise I'da just tagged it for notability...
  62. Peter Andrew Jestyn Phillips: nominated at AfD; notified Cmdcam01 (talk · contribs) 09:52, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Despite the very impressive list of roles, they're all support roles or trusteeships, with only CUP presented as a CEO position. Coverage is passing, CVs or corporate announcements. WP:BUSINESSPERSONOUTCOME - "Corporate presidents, chief executive officers and chairpersons of the boards of directors of companies listed in the Fortune 500 (US) or the FTSE 100 Index (UK) are generally kept as notable." CUP is not FTSE listed .
  63. Anne Lyon Hansen: nominated at AfD; notified Frb12 (talk · contribs) 14:36, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Afraid she fails WP:GNG - no significant coverage, no role of significance. A highly respected lady, she however is not notable as per prevailing WP standards.
  64. TheFestivals: nominated at AfD; notified Alldayraver (talk · contribs) 14:43, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: PROD in March 2022 and tagged for notability since then, now we're at AfD with this non-notable web medium. Fails WP:GNG, WP:WEBCRIT: "The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself. " or "he website or content has won a well-known and independent award from either a publication or organization." Neither apply and the sources presented are not significant.
  65. Philippe Leboeuf: nominated at AfD; notified Yasminkaa (talk · contribs) 14:50, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Hotelier, GM of Mandarin Oriental. In this lieth not the stuff of notability. Sources are passing mentions, business announcements, industry magazine award insufficient to count as "a well-known and significant award or honor" and so fails WP:GNG. Beyond that, the article's a CV and needs TNT - I think AfD is a better course given inherent lack of notability.
  66. Stephen H. Rapp Jr: nominated at AfD; notified Emperor of Emperors (talk · contribs) 14:57, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: March 2022 PROD expired, tag removed by creator, article's still there, unchanged. Fails WP:GNG, WP:PROF; WP:NACADEMIC - in short, not a notable academic.

Flagged for notability since March.

  69. Silver Medal (Maalaala Mo Kaya): nominated at AfD; notified Abrilando232 (talk · contribs) 07:03, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: While Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) has an article and, indeed, its seasons also have articles featuring plot summaries of episodes, this episode (as others) is not in itself inherently notable and the sources reflect that - there is no significant coverage on offer here whatsoever. Fails WP:GNG.

  74. Demi Rose: nominated at AfD; notified Insight 3 (talk · contribs) 08:56, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Demi Rose's appearances in eye-popping red lingerie apart, there's nothing here to get us over WP:GNG - certainly no independent, in-depth coverage or any role other than as a model that would possibly confer notability. As a model, there's no coverage beyond images, a couple of interviews and incidental mentions in coverage about others.

  78. Subhash Khanna: nominated at AfD; notified Keleywen (talk · contribs) 10:16, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Hugely problematic article - created by editor blocked for UPE, consists of sweeping assertions not backed by citations - for instance, the article cited to explain his presidency of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons is actually titled "This Nagaland village council has decided to not pay 'taxes' till underground groups unite" - that presidency is confirmed in another source - cited to source his BC Roy Award, but which does not even mention that award. WP:GNG is failed by the other passing mentions, incidental coverage and excessive irrelevance in this article. He's a surgeon, he's not notable.

The event is clearly regrettable but it is not our role to memorialise it. Also WP:VICTIM clearly shows notability here is not achieved.

    • Reason: Unexplained PROD removal by article creator, here we are. Fails WP:NACADEMIC; WP:GNG, only potentially significant role held was acting vice-chancellor of the Ambrose Alli University - WP:POLOUTCOMES here helps us, "Civil servants who assume a political office on an interim or caretaker basis are not considered notable just for having briefly held that office, even if holders of the office are normally considered notable." Coverage relates only to appointment/removal - this is not notability.

Search throws up very little else and nothing of weight/note. Festival screening alone does not confer notability (for historical notability, "The film was given a commercial re-release, or screened in a festival, at least five years after initial release.") but this 2013 film doesn't qualify for that clause. 55. 1934 Bulgarian census: nominated at AfD; notified Jivkohristov37 (talk · contribs) 10:29, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is problematic and not simple, so here goes. I would have draftified this article except it's way older than 90 days. It's basically sourced to a single source and SELECTIVELY picks from that source, omitting figures for - for instance - Muslims and others from the presented data. The author has a very intense interest in the demographics of European/Near Eastern countries and I worry about that given the selectivity in this article. Do we need a 1934 census of Bulgaria article? Is it notable? Based on one source? Effectively misrepresenting the data presented in that source? My view is not and I'm proposing this be draftified per a consensus reached here or deleted until something better and more representative can be built. Your views, please...

The film has received a major award for excellence in some aspect of filmmaking. The film was selected for preservation in a national archive. The film is taught as a subject at an accredited university or college with a notable film program."
This film has done none of these things. Moved to Draft, put back in mainspace with same sourcing, which boils down to 'socialite makes film', profiled in the fashion/social pages of three fashion/socialite focused titles. "Nellikathuruthy Kazhakam is an important Kazhakam" - the word Kazhakham is linked to a 1996 film of that name. Where Nellikathuruthy Kazhakam is - and quite what it is, is not defined. It's certainly not defined in the sources presented, none of which actually mention Nellikathuruthy Kazhakam - the article is a neat little bit of OR/SYNTH - presented in such convoluted and gramatically poor English that it's hard to sort out quite what is happening here: "Problems that could not be solved in other poles would then reach this pocket" is a typical example. It's borderline gibberish, fails WP:GNG and needs to go to perhaps make way, one day, for an article about a well defined thing that is written well enough and sourced well enough to let the casual reader know quite what thing it is about.

Three interviews (Jerusalem Post, Maariv and Israel Today) in mainstream media and a lot of incidental mentions in incidental media are presented as references but they're not enough for notability to be established for what is clearly a partisan PR exercise that simply doesn't belong in this unverified and unverifiable state on Wikipedia.

With no MSM coverage in evidence, and no evidence to back up claims such as "The Conference had a very big impact on how English and literature were taught in the United States and the United Kingdom for multiple years after the conference.", with no evidence at all of an impact on British education, let alone American education. In fact, the paper cited here, "The Dartmouth Conference: Its Reports and Results" appears to throw cold water on the while idea of Dartmouth being influential on the teaching of English. We really don't need a list of people who attended a conference in 1966, either. No independent coverage, fails WP:GNG.

    • Reason: Now this is, I promise, an interesting one. Refbombed with fully 28 references, this article is of a Japanese media personality, model, and musician. The references are mostly in Japanese. Translated, they often namecheck the subject as the son of his famous baseball player father Masumi. They are almost all trivial to an almost exquisite degree. The subject's main claim to fame and notability seems to boil down to the fact that he looks, well, odd. As a media personality, model and musician he appears overwhelmingly trivial. He has appeared in some TV commercials, a web campaign for insect repellent and as a beauty ambassador for AvanTime Tone Shot Cream. With 28 references, it's almost impossible that someone won't argue that he passes WP:GNG. And yet they all amount to absolutely no substance and, as far as I can see, no evidence of notability - typical is 'news' pieces noting an Instagram post where Kuwata thanks his brother or father for their birthday greetings. Does 28 pieces of bellybutton fluff equate to "significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent"??? You tell me...

  3. Yasmine Seale: nominated at AfD; notified Jackie.salzinger (talk · contribs) 15:37, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: We have a translator here - but the role of translator is incredibly common and not inherently notable, even if the works in translation are. We have the claim that she is the first woman to translate The Arabian Nights but that's really cheese-paring - the first translation of that work we have into a Romance language was in the early C18th. In literature in general, we have WP:AUTHOR - "The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors or the person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique or the person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews and that's not demonstrated here. Arablit as a source is effectively a blog and although Martia Lynx Qualey is a respected writer on the subject of Arabic translation, I'd wonder whether the many references here to Arablit or Martia's work are sufficient to demonstrate notability to the bar set by the above guideline or to pass WP:GNG. This isn't an easy one, but I'd argue in balance that the subject - as a translator - fails notability.

    • Reason: Notability is not inherited. Clearly fails WP:GNG.

    • Reason: Now this, I promise you, is interesting. Ante Pavlović was a self-proclaimed 'chiropractor' and sometime psychiatric patient, whose unpleasant erratic, extreme, violent and anti-social behaviour got him some passing notoriety in the more lurid Croatian press - including TV shows and even appears to have gained him some sort of following. So we have coverage and some degree of notoriety, but we're hardly Charles Manson and more of a public nuisance. Outside of Croatia and the complaints of his long-suffering neighbours, he is unknown. Do we need a page about the 'Following of Ante Pavlović'? The fact of that following is not the focus of the media and is not in itself notable other than a passing commentary on human culpability. So I would argue that no, we do not need this article and so this would duly be deleted. We might argue about a short biography being appropriate, but this is not that article. We could move the page title to Ante Pavlović but then this would all have to be rewritten to be biographical and it leaves me with the question - does a psychiatrically unbalanced man whose only media attention is for complaints about his awful behaviour in a foreign country merit an article in the English Wikipedia? Even if it DOES, technically, pass WP:GNG. Over to you, good people.

Role in a netflix original, without much else. None of the listed sources are reliable as far as I can tell. Article departs no real information." and I can only add that he still, with no more notable roles than last time, continues to fail WP:GNG; WP:NACTOR.

"As per WP:FILMMAKER / WP:Notability (artists) This filmmaker is not an important figure and is not widely cited by peers. This person has not created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work has not been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews, or of an independent and notable work."

    • Reason: The list of specialisations is rather exhausting for this Keralite polymath - geographer, scientist, web designer, lyricist, composer and feature film director. The difficulty is finding which of these, if any, confer notability on him. The ultimate answer is 'none', although there is potentially an emerging case for future notability if he directs more films than the one, Peace, which has the most attention in the article as it stands. Coverage across the board is interviews, incidental and passing mentions in the main and he doesn't make WP:FILMMAKER or WP:DIRECTOR. He doesn't appear to make WP:NACADEMIC and based on coverage alone arguably fails WP:GNG. It's probably WP:TOOSOON but on the balance, right now, he is not clearly notable.

    • Reason: This virtually content-free single-sourced stub has been redirected and re-created a number of times, the author contending that it goes beyond a WP:DICDEF (which in my view it most certainly does not) and should not be a redirect to Consensual tickling. In a two-paragraph article, we are told "It seems to be a relatively common interest on the internet", which is about as WP:OR as you'll get, and "The total number of people who have knismolagnia is unknown and there aren't very many straightforward estimates." which equally adds zilch to the sum total of human knowledge. The image was apparently uploaded under a CC license, but there appears to be little evidence of that. In total, we have an article that lacks the stuff of WP:GNG, that should at best be a redirect but which its author, in its current iteration, does not accept should be a redirect. Delete and include mention of the term under Consensual tickling, redirect to Consensual tickling or any suggestion of a better redirect target gratefully received.

Despite the claim in the article that the company "gained significant media attention for organizing National Curry Week between 4th to 10th May of 2020" no coverage in RS is presented (I'm discounting the Bucks Free Press and Epping Forest Guardian here). Fails WP:GNG; WP:NCORP.
  8. Malcolm Collins (author): nominated at AfD; notified Frenchfriesaredelicious (talk · contribs) 09:29, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Malcolm Collins is an author, business person, philanthropist and advocate of the pronatalist movement. As an author, the subject is self-published. As a business person, we have little to no evidence of notability. As a philanthropist, likewise. "Significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" being absent, the subject fails WP:GNG. The article is promotional in nature, incidentally.

    • Reason: 'Investment company' and/or 'content farm', article has barely any content - not enough to differentiate between these two characterisations - and certainly nothing to assert notability - sourcing is similarly patchy, with the usual routine funding announcements, press releases, acquisitions. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NCORP; WP:CORPDEPTH. I would refer interested parties to WP:SERIESA.
  10. G2T Global Awards: nominated at AfD; notified Ara479 (talk · contribs) 06:25, 6 July 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This article is about an award presented by a Moroccan training company. It is entirely non-notable, has no RS presented and is totally promotional. The website is 'powered by GoDaddy', which already has us in the weeds. Basically, this is borderline hoax - a commercially motivated award of questionable merit and absolutely zero notability. Delete with fire would be my earnest recommendation.

    • Reason: PROD declined "with the subject has received considerable coverage in reputable online sources and is especially notable as the first woman WOFF-AF" but there is no RS coverage presented and the article does not claim she is the first female WOFF-AF (whatever that is). The award of a Medal of the Order of Australia alone (the lowest category of the award and one with no quota) would appear not to compensate for an otherwise complete failure of WP:GNG.

    • Reason: This prolific storyteller, poet, playwright, musician, public speaker, actor, and producer has had a long and varied relationship with the performing arts and undoubtedly has worked with some notable people and across a number of performances and venues. I confess I hummed and hawed about this nomination because it felt as if he should, indeed could be notable. However, when you boil it all down, there is no record of sustained or exceptional notability under any of these labels - coverage is interviews or non-RS; there is no "well-known and significant award or honor" or multiple nomination. Ultimately, while undoubtedly widespread in his interests, I believe the subject does not pass WP:GNG or WP:ARTIST (and its multiple associated creative guidelines).

Given the tagging and the time given to improve this and the deletion history, I'm nominating for deletion as not notable either as a musician/producer or as a business person.

That's a shame, because I concur with the AfC comments - the club has heritage, but it plays in the seventh league with a ground capacity of 300. • Reason: This article has sat at the back of the NPP queue for a while now - was sent to draft, then returned to mainspace without improvement. The subject fails WP:GNG and WP:NACTOR. Siti Zainab is an Indonesian singer and actress, was a child actress in two Indonesian films in 1949 and four others in 1950 when, presumably, she was still a child actress. She starred in none of them. There is no evidence of her being notable as a singer. Of the three sources in the article, the first is apparently an interview with her and her parents when she was 16. The second two are unverifiable, neither source returns a result when searched for 'Zainab' - the same sources are present in the Indonesian WP article, which this article would appear to be a translation of. Her husband closed recently as 'no consensus' but also would appear to fail WP:GNG and her son has an article in Enwiki (both the same author) but not one in Indonesian and I'm having a hard time not nominating that article as well. It's all cruft.

Apart from much detail regarding his family (his father and mother's articles, by the same author (tagged as closely connected to the subject in Indonesian) also fail WP:GNG - although the father's AfD closed as 'No consensus' a couple of months back. Sourcing is primary or unverifiable (the first source is about the subject's father, the second a contribution to a poetry anthology and it doesn't get any better), there's no evidence of notability as an academic and the books are little more than pamphlets as far as I can ascertain. The 'award' is not a bluelink.

With his keen eye for creativity and unwavering work ethic, Woodward has risen to the top of the advertising industry through a journey that has been both interesting and unexpected." we are told - the issue being that this is 'contributed content' - a press release. Little else exists here to demonstrate notability - passing mentions, (gushy) interviews and pieces about the brands the subject has worked with. The edit history would also appear to involve the subject's own work on this page. All in all, we clearly fail WP:GNG once we get beyond the window dressing. This 'award' is a self-fueling entity, a business venture that publishes a magazine on the back of the award. On top of this core Awards article, we now have new articles being created about 2021 awards winners, 2022 awards winners etc etc. There is no evidence of notability to the awards, no independent oversight or committee and no entity backing them other than the commercial company that runs them for profit. Source 1 and 3 are interviews. Source 2, the writer asked Rivera a question and he directed the writer to another cook. Source 4, Seattle Mag, is a review-cum-interview that posits the question, "Is Rivera really as great at cooking as he is at marketing himself on social media?" - and we start to get to the heart of the issue right there, IMHO. Source 5 is a podcast interview as is source 6, source 7 (American University Radio), source 9, source 10 and source 11 (the best of 'em, the San Francisco Chronicle podcast features the classic line, in response to the question, what's your deal, "I think, like, I've been asked that for years. What we have, in summary, is boss-level self-promotion, a lot of podcasts and interviews and oddly enough a failure of WP:GNG. There's no independent SIGCOV at all here. WP:BEFORE gets us some routine 'opening' announcements, but basically we're - if anything - WP:TOOSOON.

    • Reason: "List of equestrians that competed in more equestrian disciplines" seems oddly tortological, but then 'List of equestrians with a history of competition in more than one discipline', which is what I think we're after here, is a level of detail I think we don't need. What next? List of authors who wrote more than one type of book?

    • Reason: Although two of the sources here are the Express Tribune, both are interviews and therefore not independent of the subject, so failing WP:GNG. Exhibitions at many minor galleries (the Louvre, but in Karachi) and no record of enduring impact, critical review or significant monument do not pass WP:ARTIST.

    • Reason: Okay, okay, I'll do this one. Previously AfDd because it was another Natalie White (Natalie White (Survivor contestant) and PROD declined because it was previously AfDd (although procedurally the AfD was a different Natalie White), this particular Natalie White is not notable per WP:GNG and WP:ARTIST and therefore the article should be deleted. No evidence of enduring impact on the arts, major exhibitions, national critical review or anything else, in fact, that meets WP:ARTIST. Unrelated to this AfD, the article's history is unusually messy - probably the only notable thing here.

    • Reason: "There were 8 Portuguese citizens residing in Albania in 2019" says this article and that, milords, is where I rest my case. Despite quite a lot of fancy window dressing, a Wikipedia article dedicated to the lives of eight worthy people is something I think we should consider as worthy of deletion as it contains virtually no salient content. Just, just possibly a redirect to Albania-Portugal relations?

Beyond the promotional tone, the article does nothing to establish notability and no further SIGCOV was unearthed in a WP:BEFORE (although the book was!)...

    • Reason: The fabulously named Michael Fernand Nascimento de Castro Biggs is Ronnie Biggs' son (remember folks, notability is not inherited) but his notability is presented in this article as a singer. There is no evidence that the subject is or was notable as a singer. The article does contain the compelling line, "Since March 2021, Biggs has being a television presenter for a Music show called Papo Musical, which is about music." but the coverage presented here relies on Michael's relationship with his father, and with his membership of a children's group, The Magic Balloon Gang (a possible redirect target). 37. Economy of Things: nominated at AfD; notified Zytty (talk · contribs) 04:11, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Now here's the thing: this whole construct/concept is a piece of IBM 'thought leadership', and a phrase coined by IBM - and promoted by the company - in the pursuit of commercial goals. So I nominated it for G11, and it was then sent to draft. Now it's back and it's STILL problematic. I'll quote here from the G11 template, "This article may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion because in its current form it serves only to promote or publicise an entity, person, product, or idea, and would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic." (my bold)
So here we have an article sourced to IBM, the opinions and/or op-eds of its staff and a couple of non-IBM sources dealing with tangential concepts that have been accepted into the mainstream.
If speedy is declined and the draft mainspaced by its author without addressing the fundamentally IBM-centric nature of the whole idea (hard to do - again from G11, "would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic." then I would suggest the only possible outcome is deletion. You could redirect to IBM but then that gives IBM effective ownership of the phrase on Wikipedia...

  42. Decadent (band): nominated at AfD; notified 올해의수상자 (talk · contribs) 16:18, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

So we have a band. Formed. Disbanded soon after. Recorded an album. Nominated for an award. Didn't win. No chart placement, no enduring impact or influence. No critical reception. No notability. Fails WP:GNG, WP:BAND.
And, yes, a WP:BEFORE shows some initial press release derived music media coverage and nothing whatsoever beyond that.

    • Reason: This has got to be the most impressive example of Wikiwashing I have seen - a sleek article packed with citations, lots of detail, well formatted and generally looking just fine and dandy. Behind that excellent presentation lies a house of cards - sourced in the main to the subjects own website, with occasional incidental mentions as taking part in local/regional exhibitions with video installations, there is not one shred of notability, enduring impact, critical regard, monument, significant award or exhibition. Fails WP:ARTIST; WP:FILMMAKER.
  2. Carles Duarte i Montserrat: nominated at AfD; notified Mcapdevila (talk · contribs) 07:28, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This highly decorated monument to the subject does not contain as much citation as decoration. No political elected role or appointment, scant assertion of notability as a poet or writer, no enduring impact on the arts as an artist - although has held a number of administrative roles in arts organisations. The first source in the article is sourced to an article based on Wikipedia, which is always an impressive achievement - but the second source is to Wikipedia itself, which rather trumps the first triumph. The third source is to a list of appointments, the fourth - Diari de Girona - is a routine appointment announcement (and identifies the subject as a regular contributor to Diari de Girona) while the fifth is the announcement of an award for "unconditional support" to the publications collected by the Catalan Regional Press Association. The final source, possibly the only contribution we have here to potential notability, is for "The poet and linguist Carles Duarte, president of the National Council for Culture and the Arts, has won the 2014 Ramon Fuster award for his civic, cultural and literary career." However I could find no evidence that the award itself (conferring 3,000 Euro) is itself notable. The subject's Catalan WP article is virtually unsourced, BTW. WP:BEFORE shows no body of critical review, no evidence we pass WP:GNG, let alone the four criteria of WP:ARTIST.

Outside The Guardian itself - or pieces in society magazines saying how subjects look 'hot' or other commentary regarding cover stars (likely paid/promoted content) there is no independent notability for The Guardian Life, no WP:RS, no WP:SIGCOV and no evidence it is a notable publication or business per WP:NCORP.

WP:BEFORE yielded a Dutch article in which he is described as an amateur ("There is no room for Bert Vlaardingerbroek is written in every darts book." Google did struggle with this one) and a piece on Forgotten Darters. It's not enough for WP:GNG and having reached the last 32 of the Winmau World Masters as the pinnacle of his career, he is not notable per WP:NSPORT. However, I did learn that there is a condition called 'Dartitis', similar to Dystonia and for that I am grateful.
