Suspected sockpuppets

This SPI seeks to connect Asasdfadf to Giubbotto non ortodosso and to blocked IPs from Italy, geolocating to the Ravenna province as well as neighboring provinces. The Asasdfadf account was registered on 5 June 2014, making it six months older than the Giubbotto non ortodosso account. The Asasdfadf account was largely inactive until 17 March 2016, ten days ago. This new activity came after confirmed sock Mario_Maraschi was blocked, and also after 82.51.176.196 was blocked on 15 March. The new activity came directly after Italian IP 87.3.242.75 was working on the same Chris Brown article,[1][2] in the manner of an IP user changing to his registered account. When Asasdfadf came online it was to repeat the same edits of the Italian IPs.[3][4] Confirmed sock Mario Maraschi added the pop rap genre to a song article, then after that was reverted, IP 82.59.218.233 did the same thing. Frustrated by repeated reversions of this, the Italian person decided to remove all genres. This same removal was Asasdfadf's first edit to the song article, picking up the Italian IP edit war. Suspected sockpuppets

I've noticed these users having very similar editing patterns as User:Mario Maraschi (one of Giubbotto's sockpuppets) on the Back to Sleep (song) page. They both made the same edits as Mario Maraschi on the page, and were both created after he was blocked indefinitely. In addition, Colui che beve la colla vinilica says his name is Giovanni Muciaccia, which bares an uncanny resemblance to the names Giubbotto and Maraschi. And Just editing with a smile spelt the word irrelevant as "irrilevant", which is the exact same spelling that Mario Maraschi previously used for that same word. Since then, the address 82.51.122.169 again made the same edits on the same page, and can also be traced back to Italy. Maestro2016 (talk) 13:24, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Following the previous sock block and rangeblock, the sleeper account Drimtikko and two IPs kicked into action on many of the same articles as Giubbotto non ortodosso and previous socks/IPs. Evidence
  • At the Bruno Mars biography, confirmed sock Mario Maraschi added the funk genre to the article text.[7] Later, he added the funk genre to the infobox, as a new part of a revert edit.[8] Drimtikko also added the funk genre to the infobox as a new part of a revert.[9]
  • After I went around reverting this person's work, he posted on my talk page under various IPs and sock accounts. Many of the posts start from the most recent post rather than creating a new section, and they share a characteristic style, which I don't want to describe because of WP:BEANS.[10][11][12][13]
  • At the "Back to Sleep" song article, I reverted an Italian IP here,[14] and that was reverted by Drimtikko here.[15]
  • At the Royalty album page, I reverted Drimtikko here,[16] and was then reverted by an Italian IP here,[17] and by Lalala3423 here.[18]

  • After a few mundane edits to get established, Mike Smith Jr.'s first characteristic edit was one where he returned to his favorite subject of Chris Brown, the rapper.[19] Then he added the funk genre,[20] the same that was inserted by Rimini/Ravenna IP 80.116.155.192 on 11 April,[21] and the same that Rimini/Ravenna IP 82.51.122.88 had added back in December.[22] Binksternet (talk) 04:56, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • The page Picture Me Rollin’ has been of great interest to Giubbotto_non_ortodosso since it was changed from a redirect to an article by Rimini/Ravenna IP 80.116.154.69 back in late December. Rimini/Ravenna IP 82.53.179.230 and Giubbotto non ortodosso both removed the genre "West Coast hip hop".[23][24] Confirmed sock Mario Maraschi added a section which said the song was g-funk genre[25] and then suspected sock Mike Smith Jr. added another section saying the song was g-funk genre.[26] Binksternet (talk) 05:09, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I saw User:Deeeogo and new User:Deeeeogo both have similar names and were editing similar pop music song related articles, even the same articles at time. here Deeeogo edits Back to Sleep, and the next edit is by Deeeeogo. I thought at first maybe only those two are related however, today some ip addresses (80.116.155.111 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) and 87.3.245.131 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log)) that are likely socks of Giubbotto non ortodosso have been editing, and also being reverted. After they are reverted, however, Deeeeogo will restore or partially restore them. here ip makes edit, and after it gets reverted, Deeeogo restores it. Ip makes edit, then once reverted, Deeeogo partially restores it. ip makes edit, it is reverted, it is restored by Deeeogo. I also added a couple more IP's that locate to the same Italian province, and user:ChriiiisBrownFan, who has been editing Chris Brown music related article. 82.51.120.159 made this edit to Drifting (G-Eazy song). That's pretty bare bones evidence. Even so, I do believe these are socks (if not of Giubbotto non ortodosso, then at least of each other). Notice how when Banana good's edit to Beautiful People (Chris Brown song) was reverted, Every bottle restored it. This edit summary – "sourced now ha ha" – was the fifth edit of I feel blessed, showing this person was not a new editor. Binksternet (talk) 19:35, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ahother example is found at the article Royalty (Chris Brown album). Confirmed sock Just editing with a smile said that the album was R&B and funk, with the sources including Italian language ones.[75][76] Four weeks ago, the Italian IP 82.59.213.87 added the same thing, with the same sources.[77] Italian IP 82.51.122.44 was interested in the same article,[78] as was suspected sock Future love Future.[79]
  • At Privacy (Chris Brown song), the redirect was made into an article by suspected sock I feel blessed. When an unrelated Louisiana IP added the genre "electro", Italian IP 82.59.213.87 reverted that.[80] When this was changed back, suspected sock Praisless reverted.[81] Suspected sock Future love Future then added a wikilink. It's a clue that these four editors have been working on the same new article.[82]
  • Again, a new article was made out of a redirect, this time at Heartbreak on a Full Moon by suspected sock Future love Future.[83] After some development, suspected sock Praisless removed a paragraph. This is within two hours of the article being created, showing that the two accounts are connected.

  • After the last round of socks was blocked on 5 May, the article Privacy_(Chris_Brown_song) was expanded by three IPs from the socking area of Italy: 95.234.247.148,[84] 79.25.61.180,[85] and 87.3.245.112.[86] These edits restored stuff like the R&B genre that was first added by confirmed sock I feel blessed.[87]
  • Italian IPs 87.3.245.112 and 80.116.154.105 made the same edit.[88][89]
  • Suspected sock Good layawr fussed with the columns[90] in the same manner as confirmed sock I feel blessed.[91]
  • Diksternet is blocked already for username violation – the registered account teamed with Italian IP 82.49.211.86 to engage in edit warring at "Grass Ain't Greener"[95][96] and to insult me in the Italian language.[97]
  • When Good layawr was reverted twice,[98][99] Italian IP 80.116.154.105 continued the edit war.[100]

  • Confirmed sock Kriss Kross made this edit, which was repeated almost exactly by suspected sock Mashba ranks here, both addtions having to do with Twitter and Instagram activity by Chris Brown.
  • Giubbotto non ortodosso socks often take a Chris Brown song or album redirect and turn it into an article, for instance confirmed sock I feel blessed did this here, confirmed sock Future love Future did so here, and confirmed sock Praisless did so here. In that vein, suspected sock FItUpOneTime has done the same thing several times.[105][106][107]
  • Suspected sock FItUpOneTime performed the same edit as Italian IPs 87.3.245.112 and 80.116.154.105, adding Gorgon City, Cook Classics, Jean Baptiste, as well as the Monsters and the Strangerz.[108][109]
  • Confirmed sock Kriss Kross added R&B slow jam to the song "Privacy" and was reverted. Suspected sock May the Way performed the same action.[110]

This edit by TomMMYway.sixtime repeats precisely many of the elements of previous attempts by Giubbotto non ortodosso and his socks to change that particular album article. For instance in December 2017, sock account AINYLOVIN made this edit, with little-known sources Driftwood, a school paper from the University of New Orleans, and the small town newspaper Register-Guard from Eugene, Oregon. TomMMYway.sixtime added these same sources in the same manner down to the bare URL style which is different than surrounding cites, and using the same exact text for a prose description. Back in December 2017, following AINYLOVIN being reverted, sock IP 82.61.65.86 re-added this same material. A large number of socks have re-inserted the same material, including Poppahalfofperc, Closahcolsah, Lilmamawanttofreaksom, PorshAE.tattoosonmyneck and more. First example:[136][137] Second example with the exact same non-working citation to RIAA:[138][139] Aaron McConaudsey also teamed with blocked sock TomMMYway.sixtime to create a good hand/bad hand edit reversion series to end up with TomMMYway.sixtime's preferred version.[140][141][142]

The hardest man in town performed the same edits as blocked socks TomMMYway.sixtime and BegForIt2020, the same as Italian IPs 5.171.215.45 and 5.171.215.10.[143][144][145][146][147]

Lose yourSeLF 2 disclosure is a single-purpose account with a suspicious name and editing pattern, following blocked sock TomMMYway.sixtime and preceding by only a few seconds the Italian IP 5.171.214.25.[148][149][150] The style of this edit is the same as other socks, with bare URLs inside ref tags and the same composition style.

Of course we still have a bunch of IP4s from Italy in the Chris Brown music articles. (Special:Contributions/5.171.212.0/21 should be blocked.) Italian IP 5. 171.xx edited the Chris Brown template followed by Gocrazymeanea.[155][156] That template is a particular focus of Giubbotto socks. This edit shows a familiarity with Huggle from a supposedly new user. This sequences shows two socks making the same edit, removing the hip hop genre.[157][158] The all-time winner for identifying Giubbotto socks is the restoration of long-disputed text at Heartbreak on a Full Moon,[159] with just about every Giubotto sock doing the same exact thing. I would like to defend myself by saying that I just created the account, I've been editing without an account before creating one, and soon as I created it a notification about this thing right here popped up in my notifications. The only purpose of my edits was to create a section about music and lyrics from the album citing sources that were already in that article, and my edit is literally just that, please check the sources. Mr. Blablubbs, since you're so smartly conviced let me show you. I did my little reserch. And i found this dude that was accused by Mr. Peanuts too, that was confirmed to be NOT RELEATED and got blocked anyway for that exact reason.

I guess now that massive censorship for everyone that edits certain articles is one way to handle certain vandals. A weak way, especially for an encyclopeida that named the """""free""""" encyclopedia. Like i done it befoh performed a series of minor edits to get autoconfirmed. Once autoconfirmed, they edited the Chris Brown biography to add "graffiti artist". They recreated the deleted and salted song article name Did You? as Did You? (4B song), to avoid the protection placed on the old song name; protection put in place because of disruption by Giubbotto non ortodosso.

Slime & Berzy followed blocked sock Blue backyad[175] to put the same song in the infobox.[176] Italian IP 62.18.234.11[177] was followed by Slime & Berzy making the same genre change.[178]

this is so funny. y'all been blocking lots of dudes for no reason, just because they edited the same articles as me, doing very good edits too though. Reverting good informative edits with good purpose by users that did nothing that end up blocked seems to be the procedure. Unluckily not all of the dudes that y'all block without any logical reason end up unblocked like him, but reading their confused replies to your bully fingertip that is reverting and blocking good edits that y'all ain't even capable of doing motivates me to keep going, and never stop.

I'm Giubbotto non ortodosso, but meaning that every mutilated user on the encyclopedia is so, we're all giubbotto. Italian IP range Special:Contributions/62.18.232.0/22 was blocked four days ago. Today, a drawer full of socks was blocked by checkuser. But Chris breezy namibia was not discovered during the checkuser process. Chris breezy namibia re-appeared after all the other socks had been blocked. Chris breezy namibia re-instated the edits made by Italian sock IPs.[182][183]
