Rollback revoked

Hello, this message is to inform you that your Rollback privileges have been revoked due to a demonstrated inability to differentiate good faith edits from vandalism, resulting in a misuse of the tool, as well as for your failure to address the ensuing complaints. Regards, Swarm 20:47, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reporting -vs- discussion of blatant username violations

Please note that these are usually considered mutually exclusive options. Per the instructions for reporting users should not be reported before being given a chance to respond to discussion. For blatant WP:ORGNAME violations that have made at least one edit, blocking is generally the tool of first resort as we issue a “soft” block, which lets them know they cannot use the username they have chosen but encourages them to pick a new one and try again. Your GA nomination of Paramount Network

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Paramount Network you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Your GA nomination of Paramount Network

The article Paramount Network you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Paramount Network for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Hi. I am replying to the message about the edits to Richard Miniter that have been undone. Thank you for your message, but I never did any change in this page, so I think you must have sent the message to the wrong person. Best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.136.17.196 (talk) 18:16, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Criticism of fast food, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Subway (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Gemma Thing

In my belief, everything I put on that page was very useful. I am a Gemma Things, and I feel that as a Gemma Thing, I am most qualified to define Gemma Things. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.51.245.15 (talk) 19:06, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting a valid change because the summary box is empty is not exactly 'assuming good faith'.

It's fighting supposed vandalism with real vandalism. If you don't know anything about the subject, get someone to check things before you start brandishing your axe. 89.64.16.138 (talk) 17:17, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Told Off for Pointing Out the Fact of the Hoax "Moon Landings"

The "Moon landings" are a hoax so what could be wrong with saying so? I don't understand. Can you please explain your thinking a bit more? Thanks.

About the North Carolina edit.

Hello! This is IP Address 139.55.213.144 speaking. Specifically, this is the older brother of who I presume to be the editor speaking. I have reason to believe that my younger sibling has made this edit, because we live in North Carolina, and they'd probably think an edit like that would be funny. I'd like to apologize for him, and I will confront him about this, and possibly bring it up with our parents.

I'm sorry that the edit has been made and that you were tasked with reverting it.

Sincerely, 139.55.213.144 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.55.213.144 (talk) 20:13, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On 9 April 2021, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Phillip Adams (American football), which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Black Kite (talk) 11:11, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Comics characters introduced in 2020 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read!
