Supporting evidence: Suspected sockpuppet, case explained at WP:Suspected sock puppets/Dr Rgne. As explained, there, the IP only started editing hours after Dr Rgne was blocked for edit warring (log). IP showed up at WP:ANI#Blocked? to complain that he/she had been blocked, but claimed it was due to a shared IP with Dr Rgne. This explanation is not plausible because the IP wasn't blocked (as evidenced by the fact they were posting on WP:ANI), only User:Dr Rgne was blocked. That block did not contain an autoblock[1], therefore it would have allowed Rgne to logout and evade the username's block.

Both have vociferously denied they are each other, however they have both edited relatively esoteric interests (e.g., Illyrians and TNA World Heavyweight Championship). A checkuser would clear this up nicely, thanks. justinfr (talk/contribs) 18:08, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
