Barryispuzzled was indefblocked [1] for sockpuppetry. He said he would come back through sockpuppets, using whatever connection he could find. He focusses on the Baconian theory and the Shakespeare authorship question articles and tries to start disputes. Here is his sock case Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Barryispuzzled. As you can see, he has already used Sycorax and Prospero in his puppet names, as well as numerous puppets ending with 2 digits (01, 02, 03, 20, 14, etc.)

All these puppets were created in the last 3 days: JeffersonT02 (Jan 8), BuyBuyBaby (Jan 10), ProsperoY (Jan 8), Sycorax14 (Jan 8), Kessinger03 (Jan 8), RegHiside (Jan 9), TipToesTulip (Jan 10) and JudgeJulianZ (Jan 10). Torricelli01 was started in August, when some of Barry's other puppets were created, and has been mostly dormant, but has now jumped in with mass reversions of the same exact material as Barry. Torricelli01 deleted sourced material, failed to use the talk page and used language identical to Barry in his edit summary here [2]. This edit matched exactly these edits by the above socks: [3], [4] and very the very same as the combination of these two edits:[5] and [6] thanks, Smatprt (talk) 07:40, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the following accounts have already been blocked as obvious disruptive socks unrelated to this checkuser request: BuyBuyBaby (talk · contribs), JeffersonT02 (talk · contribs), ProsperoY (talk · contribs), Sycorax14 (talk · contribs), TipToesTulip (talk · contribs), JudgeJulianZ (talk · contribs) (blocking admin: Luna Santin (talk · contribs)); RegHiside (talk · contribs) (blocking admin: William M. Connolley (talk · contribs)); Kessinger03 (talk · contribs) (blocking admin: PhilKnight (talk · contribs)).
That leaves only Torricelli01 (talk · contribs) in the above list of suspected socks. This account has an MO very similar, but not identical, to the various Barry socks, so it would be good to get a concrete indication—one way or the other—on this account too. --Xover (talk) 11:02, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it appears Barryispuzzled is now using open proxies, but based on MO and multiple accounts on these IPs, the following are  Confirmed:

Barryispuzzled was indefblocked [7] awhile ago for sockpuppetry. He promised that he would come back again through sockpuppets now and again, using internet cafes and whatever connection he could find. He usually hangs around the Baconian theory article and tries to start disputes. Here is his sock case Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Barryispuzzled. As you can see, Sycorax and Prospero were listed, but for some reason never blocked.

Proving that they are socks is easy. They carry Barry's MO, hanging around the Baconian theory talk page and jumping into disputes. Prospero claims to be Sycorax's husband here [8], but here [9] Prospero, says he is the wrong gender to be a Barry. And here [10], his "wife", Sycorax, describes her/himself as a man.

Isnotwen is a newer one and the reason for this checkuser request. He also carries Barry's MO in hanging around Baconian theory. He claims on his talk page to be living in "a wonderful home in LA". If he really is, as his userpage says, on the west coast, then he got up at 4 in the morning to make this edit [11] and several others afterwards for a couple of hours. I find this unlikely. If he is, as Barry was, in London, it would be mid-afternoon. He also says he is "disappearing into the night" here [12] when on the west coast it is only about 6:00pm. In London it would be much later in the night. The timing of his edit patterns are basically the same as those followed by Sycorax and Prospero, who are already obvious sock puppets and rush to his support at key moments. A simple checkuser would reveal that all three were editing from Britain, and we could move forward with the sock case.

This is ignoring other evidence against Isnotwen as merely circumstantial, such as his immediately contacting other acquaintances of his past socks and quotes on his userpage which seem to reference past conversations with me. The picture on his userpage, which he says was made by his "talented girlfriend", was actually created "entirely by himself" as he says here [13]. The image appears to be a doctored up image of Barry himself, done by himself. Wrad (talk) 17:50, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
