Two wheelers in India

The result of the discussion was retarget to Transport in India. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) 05:48, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not all two-wheelers are automotive. Readers trying to find information about non-automotive two-wheelers, such as bicycles, will not find what they are looking for. Steel1943 (talk) 20:47, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was disambiguate. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) 14:57, 25 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Primary target is not the station in California; my search is netting me lots of results for stations in Marysville, Washington. Redirect to Marysville (disambiguation) or (my preference) delete. Zerach (talk) 02:24, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It could be redirected to Coast Starlight, which has some information. If there's an article that mentions a station in Washington, it can be disambiguated - the article about the place just mentions one that has been proposed. Peter James (talk) 18:36, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Leftist errors

The result of the discussion was move Leftist errors (Yugoslavia) to Leftist errors. While no particular outcome has an outright majority, there is consensus that the status quo should not remain, and most participants in this discussion are open to compromising between the three possibilities (ultra-leftism, Leftist errors (Yugoslavia), disambiguation at base title). In the spirit single transferable vote, I'm adopting the proposal to move Leftist errors (Yugoslavia) to the base title and targeting the other redirect there. Deryck C. 11:29, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

These redirects ought to point to the same place. Leftist errors redirects to Ultra-leftism which has a hatnote to Leftist errors (Yugoslavia) but does not otherwise mention the term, but the capitalised version Leftist Errors redirects to Left communism which has no mention of the term. To me the choice is either (a) retarget the second to the target of the first, or (b) move Leftist errors (Yugoslavia) to the base name and retarget the capitalised version there. I think I prefer (b). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:29, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • B - while "leftist errors" might refer to historic analyses of [Chinese] communism, the Yugoslav policy is the only topic that actually has "leftist errors" as a title. Add to that article a hatnote of the sort "for Marxist critiques of far-left groups, see ultra-leftism". Also note that our article on ultra-leftism mentions that it's a term rarely used in English, suggesting that something with that actual title (the common English translation of the native title) is a more appropriate primary redirect. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:15, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is a closer's nightmare! A default, no-action "no consensus" preserves an inconsistency no one wants. Is disambiguation an option? --BDD (talk) 01:53, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think that disambiguation is a suitable compromise. signed, Rosguill talk 17:04, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Anything that doesn't preserve the inconsistency though I have a weak preference for b. Disambiguation or (a) are both better than the status quo. Wug·a·po·des04:43, 21 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Maybe a better approach than disambiguation would be a short article on the term itself in Marxist discourse, which could naturally link to both current targets. I don't think I'm the person to write that article, but could take a shot at it if no one else will. --BDD (talk) 15:56, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to nom's first recommended target article, per nom's and others' discussion. Doug Mehus (talk) 18:06, 25 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • The move-and-retarget (i.e. Leftist errors (Yugoslavia) -> Leftist errors) makes the most sense to me, given that's where our content seems to be. If there's broader usage about China or in the generic context, it can be added to that article or created at Leftist errors (China) or something, but we shouldn't be persisting because something could exist. A disambiguation would be fine, I suppose, but seems non-ideal (although better than the current situation or simply retargeting). ~ Amory (utc) 11:31, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No indication that this is a slang term with any actual use. Not mentioned in the target, essentially no page history, and internet search results mostly returns articles about people named Seshie. I would suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 18:04, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in the target article. Doug Mehus (talk) 17:13, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

With respect, I think our policy on keeping redirects is far too conservative. Often, extraneous redirects with myriad parenthetical qualifiers get created and then, when a merge like this happens, you end up with half a dozen or a dozen more articles redirecting to the target merged page's section. I think we need to consider the low number of hits in the past 30 days/year. Besides, redirects are easy to re-add if someone really felt this was a useful redirect. Recently created cross-namespace redirect that meets WP:R#DELETE criterion 6. This may be a good topic for a list article, but I don't think it should exist as a CNR. While other "List of" redirects to category space exist, they seem to be from Wikipedia's early days or pages with a substantive history (e.g., List of loop knots or List of German hip hop musicians). I don't think we should encourage new CNRs of this kind. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 15:11, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect title as it uses lower case but also incorrect "disambiguation" with "weeds episode". A more correct redirect is The Godmother (Weeds episode). Gonnym (talk) 14:29, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:RDAB. Malformed redirect with a missing space before the parenthesis; leftover from a page move but the article was only at this title for about 10 hours. PC78 (talk) 12:37, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not the episode name, it is Skinwalker (Smallville). As the singular form will be found in search anyways, better to get rid of this so it won't get incorrect usage. Gonnym (talk) 09:22, 18 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
