Non-notable writer; none of the published works appear notable either. Only cited ref is a blog, for an award (neither the award nor the organizations have their own articles). • Keep: Obviously, at the time I created this article (which I had forgotten existed), referencing was not considered essential or even particularly important, but I recognise that it is now. I believe that Kate Charles is very well known in crime literature circles, but then so are many other writers. • I don't think the first counts, since there's only one sentence describing Charles and an image. Nor does the second, which only gives a passing mention in one sentence. • Keep she also warrants an entry in The Mammoth Encyclopedia of Modern Crime Fiction published by Robinson in 2002 (I knew buying that thing would pay off someday). I'll go through the article and see if there's anything further to be added, but right now this entry squares with the one in the Encyclopedia. • Keep She not only has entries in crime fiction encyclopedias/companions, there are also reviews of her books, which I have started adding. I have also found and added an article about her from 2007. She meets WP:NAUTHOR and WP:BASIC. RebeccaGreen (talk) 16:46, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
