The result was speedy keep. Obviously meets NFOOTBALL, now it is not an unsourced BLP - keep to improve. (non-admin closure) Α Guy into Books § (Message) -  08:39, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

With no sources, this article about a living person could be a complete hoax and no-one would know. My WP:BEFORE shows a few sources which seem to prove his existence, however I am unconvinced he is notable as there is no evidence he meets WP:GNG. • Keep Nominator's initial point is void, as the external links prove the article could not be a "complete hoax". Subject passes WP:NFOOTBALL criterion one, having played in two international matches. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:36, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per the observations raised by Mattythewhite. Lepricavark (talk) 16:10, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Mattythewhite, WP:NFOOTBALL, etc.

What would help, both at WP:BEFORE and to improve the encyclopedia in general, is if sports bio editors were to follow MOS:BIO#Positions and roles and use the lead to say what makes the subject notable. There are far too many footballer pages like this one where the lead consists of one sentence that says what team the player currently plays or last played for, however minor that team might be, while failing to mention that they played for their country, as here, or made 100s of appearances in major leagues before dropping down the levels. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 17:14, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - article really is poorly sourced, but per WP:RUBBISH that is not really a valid argument for deletion. Subject passes WP:NFOOTY, and with a little research should also pass WP:GNG. I've already added a citation to the article so far and am looking for more. Inter&anthro (talk) 13:18, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - international player, clearly meets WP:NFOOTBALL. Needs improving, not deleting. GiantSnowman 08:12, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
