Only source in the articles are the comics, a GI Joe novel, an "official" book, and a GI Joe book published by one of the companies that produced some of the comics. These all appear to be primary sources, not establishing notability. A WP:BEFORE search turns up user-generated databases, fan sites, and toy sales sites. GNG fail.
