Highland Inn photograph request

I have a small variety of stuff on Highland Inn (Algonquin Park), mostly promotional pamphlets published by the Grand Trunk Railway and Canadian National Railway, but not certain what copyright tags to use. For my contributions to Algonquin Provincial Park page, historical information taken from the book Whitney: St Anthony's Mill Town, on Booth's Railway, by Brian D. Westhouse, which is also my Pen Name. W W 02:32, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia requested photographs in Algonquin Provincial Park

I have granted your request, with photographs from my collection of: Brent, Ontario and Kiosk, Ontario. Some identification of the buildings may be required, but at least I was there to take the pictures. W W 01:18, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MEC

Hi there,

I removed the membership number because that figure is already included more precisely in the first sentence of the article, with a citation. Just removing redundancy.

Cheers.

If you dig far enough back in the archives at Tod Maffin's Inside the CBC blog, he did an e-mail interview with me once. Plus I actually called in and won the new Joel Plaskett CD a few weeks back. Got my dorky speaking voice on the air and everything. So I'm like bustin' out all over the place, eh? I'm beginning to think maybe the Ceeb needs to hire me or something. I'm not sure that Category:Flags of indigenous peoples really applies in this case so I removed it. The flag represents all people of Nunavut and not just Inuit as opposed to the Flag of Nunatsiavut. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 04:58, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ThisRightHere.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:ThisRightHere.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. After Midnight 0001 21:15, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you happen to know the current status of Gouzenko's apartment on Somerset? Is it still a private residence? Just strikes me as curious, I wonder if the current tenant even knows the history in which they're living ;) Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 03:08, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great work

Thanks for your commendation on my pics of Renfrew County. If you like my photos, note that I also have added many pics to articles of northern Ontario. I'll continue to take and add photos where possible. Thanks again. -- P199 14:00, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Efficient Society - Joseph Heath.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:The Efficient Society - Joseph Heath.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:06, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
