Notability of Uglov Fedor Griroryevich
A tag has been placed on Uglov Fedor Griroryevich requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Blanchardb-Me•MyEars•MyMouth-timed 00:16, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Before adding links to other language versions of Wikipedia, make sure the target page exists. There is not one in uk.wikipedia titled Amanda Michalka. —C.Fred (talk) 22:01, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Stanislav Sutyagin
You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Stanislav Sutyagin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.
Malcolma (talk) 08:38, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Germany. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Spaces?
Is there a reason why you keep adding large numbers of spaces into infoboxes? Leaving edit summaries would be a good start - and I see that you were encouraged to do that a few days ago, that you acknowledged the suggestion, yet you have failed to act on it. Do ask if you don't understand anything, we are all willing to help. --Biker Biker (talk) 19:25, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, Biker! You see, this spaces make Infoboxes (like Motorcycle) more readable and writable. It's a simple explanation. ;-) --Nickispeaki (talk) 19:46, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Lists of hotels in Ukraine
A tag has been placed on Category:Lists of hotels in Ukraine requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copyright violation
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".

Svitlana thanks
Hi Nickispeaki – really appreciate your thanks for the Svitlana page I created some time ago. Small contacts like this mean a lot. Too often the only reaction an editor gets is either criticism if they do something wrong, or silence if they do things right! Making positive contact with other editors is very constructive. Prompted by your action, I've updated the Svitlana page and added quite a few more entries. Best wishes to you — Hebrides (talk) 12:04, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Hebrides! ;-) Thanks! You are welcome! :-) --Nickispeaki (talk) 17:58, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
- Your update is cool! It's so amazing for me that you, being British, created so ... proUkrainian articles! Because Ukraine is ex-colony of USSR and Russia and in Ukraine sometimes we didn't do diference between suchlike things - I mean names - Svetlana-Svitlana. But in facts, Yes, it's diferent names! Like Alyona and Olena. You see, we have a lot of form of name. Like my name - Mykola (official Ukrainian), Nikolay (Russian) and many other, not formal: Kolya, Mykolaichyk, Nikol'a, Nikolas, Kalyanchyk, Kolyusik, Kalyan, Kalyamba, Nicki, Nick and so... My name has usual form - Mykola, but many others have not. Like Hanna - Anna, Olena-Alyona-Lena... Btw, we have a little problem with it even here in our Wikipedias. An article in wikies sometimes didn't have interwiki or wrong interwiki... The same situation with categories of names (Slaviс names). I have been see it yesterday.@Hebrides:--Nickispeaki (talk) 18:17, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I looked on the Mykola page and there is an inset box at the top right giving links to 77 variants of your name! I also noticed that some people are known by more than one variant. Incidentally, when I looked at the Mykola page there were only nine people listed, so I searched and found over 150 more and have added them to the page. I hope I have done them correctly. By the way, I read your amusing article about Mars, Chernihiv Oblast. I made a few small changes – hope you don't mind. Cheers — Hebrides (talk) 21:59, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Igor Rosokhovatski
Hello Nickispeaki,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Igor Rosokhovatski for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
