Replaceable fair use File:My 31st Demerit.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:My 31st Demerit.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 09:17, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sculptures of Bangladesh, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages BC, The Daily Star and Paharpur (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free media (File:My 31st Demerit.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:My 31st Demerit.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:52, 8 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi! Yes sure, tell me. Zayeem (talk) 07:47, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
Many thanks for your kind reply. Please, check here first. I've created and contributed many articles but some were given to me by their owners and when I found enough sources then I create them on wikipedia. But a user is keep blamming me of doing articles for my profit even being aware of WP:WIALPI and Wikipedia:Paid editing. Is there any way I can request a neutral editor to check all the articles I created? This will be a great help. Thanks, NickAang (talk) 05:19, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
He might be a patroller to avert vandalism in Wikipedia. You can seek help from WP:DR. But be advised to choose your words wisely. You have been saying that the articles have been given to you by their owners. You should know that there is no ownership of articles in Wikipedia and you can't term anyone as the owner of an article. This would further strengthen the doubt of the accusers. Zayeem (talk) 05:55, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
Many thanks for the advise. I don't think he follows WP:RCP properly and also you may check this. Best Regards, NickAang (talk) 06:45, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi, we meet again! It's excellent how you are making articles related to Chittagong. But please don't just copy paste text from the Chittagong article, like you did in History of Chittagong and Economy of Chittagong.

Battle of Hilli

Battle of Hilli was part of Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. In the Bangladesh Liberation War Campaign box, it is not there, the Battle of Hilli is in the campaign box of Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Secondly, do NOT pose authority! Use talk page from now onward in case of conflict. Faizan (talk) 10:32, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

Well, Battle of Hilli is present in the Template:Bangladesh liberation, besides, you can not refer to a campaign box to prove your point, the editor who created the campaign box might have missed the article! Battle of Hilli started on November 22 while the Indo-Pak war started on 3rd December, hence it's more appropriate to call it a part of Bangladesh Liberation War which started on 26th March. And I would request you to have a comprehensive read on WP:AGF before you post in a talk page, your comments like do NOT pose authority! is a breach of the behavioral policies of wikipedia. Lastly, I'm reverting your edit in that article and don't revert mine until we come to a consensus here. Thanks. --Zayeem (talk) 13:48, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
It is not a breach of etiquette, you should cooperate instead of reverting others' edits, you ought to have waited for my reply here, so that we might reach a consensus here, but you reverted my edits, and that show your WP:AGF experience, besides the editor who created the Bangladesh template, may have added the article mistakenly! I cannot refer to a campaign box, and you can also not refer to a template. Anyway, I agree with your point of Starting dates of the battle! The Battle of Hilli no doubt started as a part of the Bangladesh Liberation War, but when after India invaded East Pakistan, then the battle became a part of Indo-Pakistani fight too! I agree with your point that it was a part of BLW, and my point is that it also became part of Indo-Pak war of 1971 after 3rd December when India joined the War, so I have also added info about that along with the BLW. Hope the conflict gets solved, Regards! Faizan (talk) 14:24, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
Well, discussing the matter before making a revert is not compulsory unless the revert breaches the WP:3RR policy. Besides, I have also given explanations in the edit summaries as well as in this talk page! Anyways, I guess we have reached a consensus, it was part of both the wars. Thanks. --Zayeem (talk) 15:22, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
Yes, that's it! Thank you too! Faizan (talk) 15:52, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

hello

hi. . . . . i had no intention to make disruptive edits, however, wikipedia does not allow us to use copious amounts of non-referenced text (these can be removed at any time) and also weasel words and peacock terms. all the articles you reverted included too much of such content, but it's not allowed to use advertising type language on wikipedia. we wouldn't find things like that in an normal encyclopedia. i hope if you go back and look at my edits, then you will understand what i was trying to do. believe me, you'll get it when you read what things i deleted! since you are highly experienced in these matters, i will also be grateful if you can also give this matter some attention and help fix these articles. Articles must be properly sourced, and the use {{citation needed}} (or similar tags) is a perfectly acceptable way of pointing out a lack of sourcing (and thus lack of verifiability). Please refrain from removing the tags without providing an appropriate citation from a reliable (preferably independent) published source; Original research cannot be accepted as basis for content. Additionally, any material lacking a reliable source directly supporting it may be removed.

We must also observe a Wikipedia:Neutral point of view at all times, thus puffery should indeed be removed or reworded.

There is even a specific content policy which applies to biographies of living persons, kind of is like a stricter version of the others I linked to; you may be interested in it too if you are not aware of it.

You are probably already aware of all this, but i just thought it best to point it out just in case. Please respond, rather than revert-warring with Ricose. Regards, benzband (talk) 19:09, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

hello my friend, no worry about the late reply. in reply to the message you left on my talk page, i do realise that other editors have also worked on the articles in the past, but wikipedia also has a few policies according to which all wikipedia articles must be written, such as

1. using reliable and neutral sources - for example, facebook pages, fan blogs or the personal website of the subjects are not considered reliable sources for wikipedia as anybody can set those up and claim to great, also the sources must be such that they can be verified by any other wikipedia editor in the world. material that comes from non-reliable sources or unreferenced content can be deleted at any time by anybody.

2. keeping a neutral point of view - this means just stating verifiable facts, also not adding biased adjectives like 'wonderful, awesome, disgusting, stupid', and not using superlatives like 'the best band of the country' or 'supreme virtuoso' unless they come from a world-class reliable source like say, newsweek magazine. this is why even worldwide famous artists such as top singers from the USA are described simply by their profession on wikipedia rather than including adjectives like 'heart throb singer', 'most popular singer of the world' or 'wonderfully fantastic'. please check the page of any famous international celebrity if you have any doubts. . . .as i read somewhere in the wiki guidelines, if someone is truly outstanding then the facts will speak for themselves.

3. sufficient notability - if a band has no albums (or just one or two independently released albums which have achieved relatively minor or little success) and just one or two concert reviews and a facebook page to prove their existence, they are not really notable enough to have their own wikipedia page.

4. sufficient number of sources - if a wikipedia article has just a single or very few sources, that is not considered sufficient by wikipedia standards. for example, the article about rock music in Bangladesh has only about five or six sources, but such a vast topic cannot be based on such few sources.

there are many more rules that need to be observed for wikipedia articles.

thus, i have tried to fully retain as much of the work of the past editors as possible while also respecting the rules of wikipedia. the edits i have made have no relationship with how many editors worked on the articles in the past, the edits is just to ensure that the material published here is meeting wikipedia guidelines.

here are a few pages you could read to learn more, in a ddition to the ones benzband (talk has listed above. . . . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NPOV http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:W2W http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:V http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:OR http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Masking_the_lack_of_notability http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:No_one_cares_about_your_garage_band

so let's try to respect wikipedia policies! Here's to a clean wikipedia! Ricose (talk) 13:28, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

No problem with removing the peacock and weasell words but as I've pointed before you are removing more contents than you should (may be mistakenly but still), and in this process you are even removing some reliable sources as you did here! I'm a bit busy in real life so can't fix those articles soon. I'd request you to recheck your edits and add the related maintainance templates. I'm reverting few of your edits with some additional edits of mine to fix it. Thanks. --Zayeem (talk) 10:14, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

Your kind response needed

Hello, this is another mate on the English Wikipedia. I've found your contributions to the articles created by User:BengaliHindu and i'd appreciated your comments on those articles. I'm requesting your comments as i feel some false accusation are being made without reliable sources in those articles. Specially, i found this article 2013 Canning riots with lots of bias. May be i'm wrong but it may also possible that such articles were created per Islamophobia. I'd deeply appreciate your comments. Best Regards,  Mrwikidor ←track 16:24, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Hi! I've gone through the article, though it doesn't seem to deserve a deletion, but in few cases I found some original research. Besides, You need to specify the biased contents that are not supported by the references. Thanks --Zayeem (talk) 19:44, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
Yes, i too now don't want a deletion rather major copy-edits as there are huge bias and exaggeration of the even. And, i believe there are a no. Hindu extremists involved behind a conspiracy to defame particularly Islam which is clear from the tone of their article. I wonder why you didn't raise the Bangladesh related bias edits to Bangladesh noticeboards or users who are knowledgeable in Bangladesh history.  Mrwikidor ←track 19:24, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
Well, I did raise the issue but the noticeboard of WP:BANGLADESH is not much active, hence I didn't get any assistance from the editors. Appreciate your concern about the issue but do everything keeping the wikipedia policies in mind. If you need any help please do let me know. Thanks --Zayeem (talk) 14:40, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

The article Adheko Ghume has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced since Oct 2012

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dainik Sambad and more

Please try to find references before you prod an article. As an example, Dainik Sambad is one of the largest circulated daily in that state; and has references that can be searched with a little bit of effort. Thanks.--Dwaipayan (talk) 14:54, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

I did google it before PRODing it and as it may seen to anybody, nothing can be found in that search that could assert the notability of the newspaper, even the references that you provided have only trivial/incidental coverage about the subject and don't really assert the notability as required per WP:GNG or WP:NMEDIA. Please, first take a look at the policies before accusing others. Thanks --Zayeem (talk) 15:56, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
Well, the website reference is from the state government's directorate of information and cultural affair, and it lists this particular newspaper among the top four in the state. That is sufficient in the geographic areas where online references are hard to come by. The newspaper meets criteria 2 and 5 of WP:NMEDIA, like many other regional newspapers in Indian subcontinent.--Dwaipayan (talk) 16:25, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Battle of Hilli

Hello dude! Would like to discuss it? Battle of Hilli ended even before Bangladesh was created, therefore a non-existent country cannot be added in the infobox. Faizan -Let's talk! 14:52, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi! Well, the independence of Bangladesh was declared on 26 March 1971, so its fair to use that term. I also went by the main article, where the belligerent is stated as Bangladesh, I wasn't a Wikipedian that time but I guess there had been extensive discussion about this issue in the past and the involved wikipedians have agreed to use the term Bangladesh as it is used in all other articles related to this. Thanks. --Zayeem (talk) 15:13, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
Well, there is a heck of difference between creation and declaration. Just citing a doubtful imaginative discussion for deciding Belligerent is not enough. I think we should keep "East Pakistan" as opponent there. Likewise, the wars which took place after the creation of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh already have Bangladesh as a belligerent instead of East Pakistan, and that's it! I appreciate your edits regarding Bangladesh and your applause to the editors active with Wiki Project Bangladesh, by giving them awards. Keep up the great work, Hope that the coverage of such articles increases more, I will always be here for further help! Faizan -Let's talk! 16:03, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
Thanks a lot Faizan for your appreciation regarding my edits, but I still can't agree with you. My main reasoning was the declaration of independence of the land, which was overwhelmingly supported by the people. Further, the provisional government was formed on 17 April, 1971. As you can see, all the three criteria to be recognized as a sovereign state was already fulfilled before the battle started, so I think its better to have Bangladesh instead of East Pakistan as the belligerent.--Zayeem (talk) 18:15, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

Jazz Multimedia

It seems Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jaaz Multimedia should be closed as "keep". Anyway, I was reading that Bangladeshi poets category post. A proposal is budding at Wikipedia_talk:Noticeboard_for_India-related_topics#2013_Bangladesh_India_WikiProjects_dispute_resolution. --Tito Dutta (contact) 04:23, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Neutrality

Can you show me the discussion where you get the consensus that Michael was a Bangladeshi and any secondary reliable source which backs it. You cannot add it because you feel that it will help people searching. Wikipedia maintains NPOV and I think you are not following it. You reverted the edits of me and BengaliHindu, by the way both are senior wikipedians to you. I will request you to maintain NPOV. You are free to promote Bangladesh in wikipedia but please do not add false info. Solomon7968 (talk) 13:28, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Replied here. --Zayeem (talk) 13:33, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Sure adding a category does not make it a fact but you cannot with these justify your inclusion of J. C. Bose in Scientists from Bangladesh template. Again I see that you have made a quite a good number of contributions in Bangladesh related article. I appreciate that. But in this case you are just wasting your time by adding these categories. I myself try to make contributions in some obscure areas where not much people are interested. Plesae do not escalate it. Try some third party neutral dispute solution. Thanks and happy editing. Solomon7968 (talk) 13:40, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
You still haven't provided any valid explanation! BTW, I guess we should keep this discussion on a single page (WP:INB) to make it easier for others to go through the discussion.--Zayeem (talk) 13:49, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Look there is already a category Bengali poets so adding Bangladeshi poet will mean he was born in 1971. Now if you think neutrally does not it seems wrong to you? Sure you are from Bangladesh but this is not the way to present Bangladesh in wikipedia. Solomon7968 (talk) 13:55, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
As I have pointed there, you will find many similar examples from the categories of other countries as well, including India. Let me show you an example of Martha Wadsworth Brewster, she died in 1757 but still have category Category:American women poets. We can go with the conventional terms in this case. --Zayeem (talk) 14:07, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Then you can argue this on the talk page of Martha Wadsworth Brewster. I do not want to stretch this matter but your way seems very wrong to me. I added People from Jessore to show he was born in the geographical area of Bangladesh. But he is in no way a Bangladeshi? Solomon7968 (talk) 14:13, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
There is already a bias in wikipedia that American means only USA but actually it is a continent. We can change this via a constructive way of creating articles on other topics. But repeating mistakes is not a solution. I do not know the nationality of Martha Wadsworth Brewster but I am sure that Michael is not mentioned as a Bangladeshi in any "reliable secondary sources". Solomon7968 (talk) 14:19, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
As I've said before one would not become Bangladeshi only by having a category, however feel free to revert if anyone adds Bangladeshi as the nationality in the infobox or refer him as a Bangladeshi in the text. Besides, there must be 100s of articles with these type of categories and its definitely not possible by a human to discuss in each and every article talk page. In addition, if someone removes the Indian categories from similar articles based on your rationales, many will rant on the issue in the same fashion. Hence, its better to go with the conventional terms. --Zayeem (talk) 14:27, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
It is absurd that even after knowing he is not a Bangladeshi, you are keen to add the category. Please wait till any third man interrupts in the noticeboard talk page. Solomon7968 (talk) 14:33, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Sadakhata

Had a thorough search about the software, found some passing mentions [1], [2], [3]. The article doesn't pass WP:GNG for sure and don't think it passes WP:NSOFTWARE or WP:NWEB either. --Zayeem (talk) 11:17, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

Didn't know that! I'll try to add some other sources. Thanks. --Zayeem (talk) 12:31, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
  • When I used text from other wikipedia sources in the past it was not accepted. Even when we use translated versions from other Wikipedia like German or French or Spanish, the original sources have to be cited. That is the reason why I did not formally review the article though I did c/e and added an img but suggested to Kmzayeem to find the original sources.--Nvvchar. 13:10, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
Are you referring to Wikipedia sources or Encyclopedias in general? Banglapedia is not affiliated with Wikimedia foundation, however it is regarded as the national encyclopedia of Bangladesh. --Zayeem (talk) 13:55, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
If it is not affiliated to Wikipedia then it should be OK.--Nvvchar. 15:03, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
  • Give a reference link to the fish img, which is the national aqufauna of Bangladesh so that it could be used as a part of an Alt hook.--Nvvchar. 15:14, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Mukti Bahini

Good work at Mukti Bahini article. In the beginning of this year multiple Bangladesh related articles were facing serious copyvio problem. I requested few WP Bangladesh editors, did not get much response and then rewrote three—four articles Pritilata Waddedar, Surya Sen, this Mukti Bahini etc. Though the work at Mukti Bahini remained vastly incomplete!

I hope to take Pritilata Waddedar to FA someday! Do you have the book Pritilata (in Bengali). Prometheus er pothe. 2008? I searched in the nearest book stalls in Kolkata, but did not find! The article might be an excellent FA! --Tito Dutta  (talkcontributionsemail) 12:43, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Can't take the credits for Mukti Bahini, I just did some c/e and other minor stuffs. Some other users like Fremesm, Onimesh, Darkness Shines did the main works. Though it was always in my watchlist. It would be really great to have Pritilata Waddedar as a featured article. Haven't got that book, will search it! Thanks. --Zayeem (talk) 13:41, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

I regret, I am improving the article . Faizan 08:03, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Zayeem, I have difficulty in finding references. You have a wide experience of Bangladesh-related articles. Can help with the refs? Maybe from other articles? Faizan 08:13, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
What do you want me to do by this? Everything in order Zayeem? What the fuck I will extract for Bihari immigration from India? At that time, who had given attention or coverage to them? Please make valid arguments. There is nothing special for Indian immigrating Biharis, what should I do? I have included the general info which I found for Northern Muslims including Biharis. At that time, you know these organizations of media were not active, and it's common sense that Biharis were not VIPs, every community had equal available general coverage. I expect a good reply. This is not a war, I accept your stance in other points, but in this, you should understand. Faizan 14:00, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
I had made valid arguments, you didn't mention anything about what prompted them to leave Bihar in the first place. For example, Bengalis and Punjabis have suffered communal violence and riots during the partition period, which prompted them to leave their native place (West Bengal-East Bengal, West Punjab-East Punjab). Sure, Biharis also had similar fate. You need to show them up. You can search the google books if media coverage is not much available.--Zayeem (talk) 14:17, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
No, the punjabis and bengalis, may their soul rest in peace, they were made targets of riots because of their migration. They migrated for the cause of "Two nation theory". Faizan 14:33, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks Zayeem. Hope to extend coperation in future. Faizan 15:44, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Persecution of Biharis in Bangladesh shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. The Legend of Zorro 16:45, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

Don't worry, if they go against the policies, they will surely have to face the outcomes for it. --Zayeem (talk) 17:37, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

Just post to my talk page next time, I will require funnily enough a name or IP to let you know whose sock you are wondering about. Darkness Shines (talk) 22:11, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

I think you should move a discussion on bringing in a more neutral title for the topic. The Pakistani refusal on citizenship has to be highlighted, because the issue is in many ways similar to how Burma rejects the Rohingyas. And we should involve the actual human rights experts on Wikipedia, not this notorious bunch.--ArmanJ (talk) 21:40, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

I guess a title like Persecution of Biharis would be the best one as they are facing the discriminations in other places as well.--Zayeem (talk) 07:23, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

Kmzayeem, just remember that 4 reverts in one article, even if they're not on the same stuff, can result in a block. No block right now but next time .... !--regentspark (comment) 22:33, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

Ahem....

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bangladesh Liberation War. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. I do not want to start handing out blocks, so use the articles talk-page, or get a third opinion, but rest assured not desisting will earn you a block. Lectonar (talk) 19:21, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

No, my dear friend, the page you say it's ok. I would like that you make a page of this wonderful actress, she was the dream when I was young, and untill today I follow her pieces and shows.
You don't need to make all the page, just a stub than says she is born in Milan, and now she's living in Rome. She became work in TV and now she prefers the teathre. And put her site.
Thank youuuuuu!!! Rei Momo (talk) 09:10, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Nice actress, but I don't see any reference there, you need to add some reliable sources, otherwise it might get deleted, can you add one?--Zayeem (talk) 09:20, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

26th Reconnaissance Squadron

I have been (as a self imposed project) disambiguating United States Air Force units that have held the designation "nn Reconnaissance Squadron". You recently visited and reviewed one of my more recent projects, 24th Reconnaissance Squadron (disambiguation). I have worked my way up to the 26th Reconnaissance Squadron. In this case, I changed a redirect page to a disambiguation page based on no one unit standing out on notability. Probably worth the same level of review, but because it's only an edit, whatever bot you rely on won't pcik it up. If you have any comment on this, I'll watchlist your talk page for a couple of days.--Lineagegeek (talk) 23:46, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

--Zayeem (talk) 16:23, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

--Zayeem (talk) 09:26, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Kmzayeem reported by User:Darkness Shines (Result: ). Thank you. Darkness Shines (talk) 20:21, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Warning

You as well as others have been edit-warring on several articles, including Persecution of indigenous peoples in Bangladesh and Chittagong Hill Tracts Conflict. This behaviour is unacceptable.

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, satisfy any standard of behavior, or follow any normal editorial process. If you continue to misconduct yourself on pages relating to this topic, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read at the "Final decision" section of the decision page.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page before making any further edits to the pages in question. This notice is given by an uninvolved administrator and will be logged on the case decision, pursuant to the conditions of the Arbitration Committee's discretionary sanctions system.

Fut.Perf. 15:10, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

  • The sanctions are only for topics related to India, Pakistan and Afghanistan as it reads, while the topics you mentioned are related to Bangladesh only. How can this be imposed here? --Zayeem (talk) 15:19, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

1971

High time someone deserves a topic ban. It's already been suggested by one user.--Bazaan (talk) 07:50, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

I was even awarded a star by the same user for resilience. Secondly I just move with consensus, This is a preparatory to invasion. Bazaan, it can be reported even as canvassing. Faizan 07:54, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
Faizan, frankly, I'm also thinking of taking the matter of BLW at ANI, and given the number of edit wars you have indulged in, it won't be too hesitating for the admins to impose a topic ban on you per the arbitration on discretionary sanctions.--Zayeem (talk) 08:00, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
Well, then proceed with your choice. We are going to have an RfC for BLW. You are welcome to comment here. Faizan 08:13, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
All I've seen is that you always move against consensus, like you did today again at BLW. There was never such chaos and disturbance in 1971 articles before you appeared. You represent a very radical nationalist mindset on '71, which is even challenged in Pakistan. Your views can be considered as fringe, and given the many edit wars you have waged, it's about time that you're banned from 1971 and Bangladesh articles.--Bazaan (talk) 08:23, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
Oh please, no personal attacks! No communism or nationalism, just Wikipediholism. I even self-reverted myself and started an RfC. Now stop making those kid stories here. Faizan 08:29, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

Query

Hey man, would it be possible for you to obtain permission for images from the Bangladesh Photo Archive on facebook and Drik Gallery? Because we really need pictures of '71, especially a montage for the infobox in BLW.--Bazaan (talk) 02:02, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

There was recently a month long photo exhibition in Shahbag showcasing the 1971 pictures. It could help but I'm not sure if the exhibition is still running. I'll try to contact Drik, let me see.--Zayeem (talk) 08:06, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
You know I actually found out that Drik's founder has a Wikipedia account, this is probably his. I'm not good with copyright stuff, as you would be able to see from my talk page history, so I'm not really sure how to handle this. But apart from Drik, there's also the Bangladesh Old Photo Archive, which also has a great collection. But above all WPB should be in touch with the Liberation War Museum. I'm sure they will be very willing to help, this is after all for greater public awareness.--Bazaan (talk) 12:57, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
Well, honestly, I don't want to rely on the government agencies for some obvious reasons. I saw a comment in the noticeboard where some editors said they tried to contact the Banglapedia authority so that we could copy their contents in wikipedia but let alone granting the permission, they didn't even respond. And yes, that's Shahidul Alam, but he doesn't seem to be active now. I just collected the phone no. of Drik, will call them tomorrow, let's see what happens. But couldn't find any website of Bangladesh Old Photo Archive, I messaged them in their facebook page though.--Zayeem (talk) 13:40, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
Well I hope Drik responds, Wikipedia really needs it.LWM is not a government agency! it's run by a pretty awesome group of freedom fighters.--Bazaan (talk) 15:51, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
Oops my mistake, I'll try to contact them.--Zayeem (talk) 16:01, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
Alright, I just talked with Drik but didn't get a positive response. They said the photos are under copyright of different photographers so we actually need the permission of those photographers. They asked to send a mail at dpa@drik.net , I've sent one, let's see. --Zayeem (talk) 11:41, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
Ok. Surely there must be a public domain collection. Perhaps museums are probably better positioned to help in these cases, since they often hold ownership of historical photographs. But let's hope Drik will provide us from their collection.--Bazaan (talk) 16:24, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
What got me thinking was this request from Darkness Shines, he's seeking permission of an image for a featured article candidate, probably the one on war time rape.--Bazaan (talk) 16:32, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Article for Deletion: Lost Archives Vol.1

if we add something you do not like... why do you keep deleting it?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.94.233.138 (talk) 15:44, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

You cannot add unsourced contents to the articles. Thanks. --Zayeem (talk) 15:54, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

The article Zesty Health Ltd has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Despite a couple of presumably-independent bits of press coverage, a "Google" search did not inspire confidence in this company's meeting Wikipedia's notability critieria.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 21:17, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Now, what do you think of the new lead in Chittagong? I also updated the montage with new images, especially of the port. But couldn't find any good picture of the Chittagong skyline, so had to settle for local icons.--Bazaan (talk) 02:28, 28 August 2013 (UTC)

The lead looks quite informative now, so does the new montage. :) But there some more issues with other sections, I'll be starting a thread and raise them. This article deserves to be an FA! --Zayeem (talk) 07:24, 28 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi, you added a sentence in the early history section on the Deva dynasty. Can you point to me the exact source? Thanks.--Bazaan (talk) 08:26, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi, check page 157, second para, --Zayeem (talk) 08:36, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Except for the fact that the region was the centre of the states of Harikela and Samatata, the early political history of Chittagong remains unclear. This claim can easily be challenged, as many other sources point to Sena and Arakanese rule in the same period, while another theory is that a Sufi Muslim sultanate was established in Chittagong and Sandwip by this time. The port was after all dominated by Muslims from the 9th-century. The Bayazid Bastami shrine for example dates back to 850 AD.--Bazaan (talk) 09:23, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Well, I'm not a history buff, but as far as I know, Muslim saints did use to visit the city since the ancient times but the Muslim suzerainty didn't take place before the late 13th century. About the Arakanese rule, they used to rule the city in 6th or 7th century, then lost it to the Hindus, then Muslims, recovered for a short period and then lost it again to the Portuguese. The book says that the earlier Deva kings were puppet monarchs under the Senas and the Senas were still (mid 13th century) reigning in Vikrampur and surrounding areas. Perhaps, after the Senas' defeat against Bakhtiar Khilji, Damodaradeva took the advantage of their weakness and declared independence in Chittagong and nearby areas. Again, I'm not an expert, if you find it misleading, you can insert other claims as well. --Zayeem (talk) 09:55, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Just to add, according to the book (Pg 158), Dasratha, son of Damodaradeva was probably the last Deva king and was overthrown by Shamsudding Firoz Shah in early 14th century.--Zayeem (talk) 10:06, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Fair enough. But as major sources note, the political history of this period remains unclear. And it's important to distinguish between Chittagong as a port and Chittagong as an entire region.--Bazaan (talk) 12:15, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Your request for rollback

Hi Kmzayeem. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Nomination of Nova (Bangladeshi band) for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Nova (Bangladeshi band) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nova (Bangladeshi band) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. AdventurousSquirrel (talk) 01:19, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Chittagong

Are you seriously ok with the present glorified version of the lead? Surely the last improvement I made was much more precise.--31.205.56.85 (talk) 03:22, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Actually the lead has been written after thorough discussions between the editors. Sure, there might be errors, but it's imperative that you discuss the matter and raise your concerns before re-writing the lead, otherwise it would show your disrespect towards other editors who have invested huge amount of time on the article. You seem to be quite interested in editing in wikipedia. I would suggest you to create an account which would ensure better access to the features of wikipedia. We need more Bangladeshi editors like you as we are quite underrepresented here. --Zayeem (talk) 07:28, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
The article (including the lead) is a shambles, no disrespect intended. I am certainly not the first to have noted this undeniable fact. You should stop guarding the article out of some misplaced and un-Wikipedia sensitivity about showing "disrespect towards other editors who have invested huge amount of time on the article". And no one is required to create an account. IP editing is perfectly OK. AfricaTanz (talk) 21:24, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
AfricaTanz, you're not helping matters by removing details which are entirely legitimate and referenced. The article needs refinement and restructuring, not further destruction.--31.205.56.85 (talk) 15:32, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Hi, user:Morinae making consistent vandalism in Bangladeshi martial arts, Lathi Khela, Boli Khela articles. You can see the talk pages. What??

Hey, wikipedia is free for all to edit and yes, we are allowed to boldly delete small pieces of information if we consider them unimportant. You are not authorized to leave block warnings on my page like that. Just because a piece is referenced does not mean it is important enough to be included in an article. If we were to add all the information about ever published about someone into a wikipedia article, with the logic that everything is "inportant" since it is "published" and hence "referenced", then each wikipedia page would have to become thousands of pages long. And most importantly - If you don't agree with my edit you are welcome to discuss politely on my talk page, but you are not welcome to leave rude red block warnings on my page. In fact, I should be posting block warnings on your page for your harassing behavior. For all that is written on top of yr page about demanding others not to harass you, maybe you should first follow your own instructions and stop harassing other people first. Hey man. Hope you're doing good. Can you keep an eye on this page? We know the protests were entirely peaceful, until the police dispersed protestors in a violent manner, causing injuries. The article was written initially with categories of terrorism and diplomatic attacks. That's uncalled for, since the demonstration was completely peaceful. It's the Taliban rather in Pakistan which has threatened attacks against the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad.--Bazaan (talk) 19:27, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Not that active these days, have semester finals starting from 27th Dec. :| Anyway, I had looked at the article, it looks in a better shape after your edits. And I guess we should include some info about the reactions in Pakistan after these protests as you mentioned about the Taliban threat of attacking Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad. --Zayeem (talk) 13:04, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
