Expo Line bike route moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Expo Line bike route, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, I noticed that you added a nowiki tag in this edit. I was just curious of why that happened. I noticed that you are using the visual editor, and maybe that did something? -- Cosmic (talk) 01:19, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Parks 'n' stuff

Thanks for your work creating those articles on LA parks and other attractions. I have only a couple of tiny suggestions for improvement; it is better to have no quotes--to paraphrase everything, and mentioning the names of sources such as the Los Angeles Times inline is discouraged by WP:INTEXT. OK! It’ll take me a while to get the hang of it but I will definitely work on it. I’m a slow learner but I do learn.[1] Thanks for the guidance.

Jengod, you created this page on 25 July, but it isn't a proper DYK nomination template; rather, it's just a hook without any other of the needed information. It's also not an accurate hook, if one is to believe the article linked by Imperial Elephant in Centinela Park; a mammoth is distinct from a mastodon. If you are planning to complete the nomination of this article, it will need a new or modified hook, and I'll also need to turn the nomination page into a proper DYK template. Please let me know whether you'd like to proceed with the nomination; if not, I'll arrange to have the page deleted. Thank you for your renewed interest in DYK; it's been a long time since your first nominations, and many things have changed since then. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:42, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi user:BlueMoonset please delete the nomination page! I dipped my toe in modern DYK and decided it’s not for me. Way too complicated. Thanks for checking in. jengod (talk) 21:47, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Thanks for letting me know. I'm sorry DYK didn't work for you. BlueMoonset (talk) 13:47, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jengod. I provided retroactive attribution in the edit summary of this diff for the content you moved from Ciclovía. For future copying, just be sure to note it in the edit summary (with a wikilink to the original page). This is needed to satisfy attribution requirements as described at WP:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 22:55, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much and sorry. I’ll do better next time. jengod (talk) 22:56, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please delete the article rather than draftify. I know this creek exists because I can see it but it’s not listed in GNIS, or mentioned in the Playa Vista EIR, so I don’t really know how to verify its existence/notability to Wikipedia’s satisfaction. I have nothing else to add that could redeem it out of draftspace. jengod (talk) 04:00, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
