Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to White Rock, British Columbia appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. I see you are creating Draft:Andy Anderson (skateboarder). I went looking for reliable sources to support this person's notability (and improve the draft article) but found only a few local newspaper articles, such as this. On Wikipedia, an Olympic athlete is presumed notable after they have participated in the games, per WP:NOLY. I'm not saying an article about this person will or will not be accepted; I'm just saying this may be an example of WP:TOOSOON. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if I can assist you or answer questions. Cheers. Magnolia677 (talk) 12:11, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at White Rock, British Columbia shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
You will need to gain consensus for your view before any reinstatement of this edit can be considered. Jasper Deng (talk) 21:38, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 2001:569:7A36:F800:17C:811A:D567:E9A6. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Andy Anderson".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:24, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
