"Lace and Leather" is a song by American recording artist Britney Spears. The song was written and produced by Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald and Benjamin "Benny Blanco" Levin, while additional writing was done by Frankie Storm and Ronnie Jackson, for Spears' sixth studio album, Circus (2008). "Lace and Leather" is an up-tempo dance-pop song with elements of disco, while Spears' vocals have been Auto-Tuned on the track.

Reception
"Lace and Leather" received mixed reviews from music critics. Poppy Cosyns of The Sun commented, "["Lace and Leather" is] something of a return to Lucky era Britney, only this time with racier lyrics and moments of electro pizazz - in particular the guitar which cuts in halfway through."[1] Cameron Adams of the Herald Sun said the song "sticks out like a carpenter's thumb in the sea of synthesized sounds,"[2] while Anna Dimond of TV Guide called it "the hottest song on Circus."[3] Jim DeRogatis of the Chicago Sun-Times said, "In "Lace and Leather" and "Mannequin," Spears once again proudly boasts of being every man's sexual fantasy."[4]
John Murphy of musicOMH gave the song a negative review, saying, "Lace and Leather" "is marred by some terrible slap-bass, which brings to mind Seinfeld's Kramer sliding in through the nearest door."[5] Eric Henderson of Slant Magazine said Spears' "biographical details are suppressed in favor of shopping lists" in the song.[6] Ann Powers of Los Angeles Times also criticized the song, saying, "the lyrics about Britney as mannequin, sex object, paparazzi victim and leather-clad mistress have grown tedious."[7] Despite not being released as a single, "Lace and Leather" did manage to peak at number eighty-four on Billboard Pop 100, on the week of December 10, 2008.[8]
