Requested move

Star Wars: The Clone Wars → Star Wars: The Clone Wars (video game) – {The current title is too similar to Star Wars: Clone Wars and Clone Wars. If confuses editors and readers alike.} copied from the entry on the WP:RM page

  • I'd prefer the title to remain consistent with other Star Wars titles. Might I suggest the modification Star Wars: The Clone Wars (video game) ? So basically, just add "video game" to the article title to clarify what's being talked about. -- wacko2 06:25, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"This game mostly consists of vehicular combat, although there are a few times on certain missions that are on foot as either Anakin Skywalker or Mace Windu. Many people were disappointed that Pandemic Studios did not implement into this game the ability to leave the vehicle at any time while on the battlefield. But they did correct that mistake in their Star Wars: Battlefront game, where players may enter or exit any vehicle on the battlefield at any time they wish."

I don't understand how this was a problem. Just because a game has vehicles does not mean it needs to give the option of getting out whenever you want. This is also uncited.

Reaction

This article needs a section about the reaction people had with this game.

Also, the synopsis leaves some important stuff out, like the guardian things Anakin kills on Rhen Var. That is more important than the Dark Acolytes.KdogDS 20:16, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tense

Should this article be written in the present or past tense? KdogDS 21:57, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Present; this isn't an encyclopedia on the plot of star wars, it's a general encyclopedia, so plot summaries occur as they are read or viewed. — Deckiller 21:59, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Really. Well then, this article needs work because it is all in the past tense. I had a feeling something was wrong. KdogDS 03:04, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Dark Reaper.JPG

Image:Dark Reaper.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Moving title back

Since the new games are *not* going to be called simply Star Wars: The Clone Wars, should we not move this title back to Star Wars: The Clone Wars (video game)? Rhindle The Red (talk) 01:54, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are You Serious?

99 out of 100 on Metacritic? I am sure as sure that it's not possible. 64.228.214.125 (talk) 02:06, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A big part of the problem is that the entire section is unsourced. Feel free to provide one if you feel that the current claim can be challenged. Larrythefunkyferret (talk) 04:10, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's the PS2 Metascore. http://www.metacritic.com/game/gamecube/star-wars-the-clone-wars That's the Gamecube Metascore. I can't find the Metascore for the Xbox version, though. 64.228.214.125 (talk) 23:00, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2002 video game)Star Wars: The Clone Wars (video game) – The year in the title is unnecessary disambiguation. The other video game with a similar title is Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. Not similar enough to warrant extra disambiguation. Mika1h (talk) 11:59, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
