In the current usage section the author described the fact that few modern people carry around spears as "Ironic." This is very clearly incorrect. An appropriate substitute might be that the term is "vestigial" (although this term may only refer to biological functions/structures.) or simply "outdated."

I won't correct it myself as a lack a registered account, but if someone made a quick correction that would be good. --Dan

The fact that people don't carry around spears may not be ironic, but the use of the term "spear closet" is deliberate irony - the speaker and listener know that what is meant is not what's being said.
