Rockstar was originally a Scottish company.
it might be better to refer to it as scottish rather than british. 81.109.90.194 (talk) 09:35, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
- Rockstar Games is (and always has been) American. You're thinking of Rockstar North. – Rhain ☔ (he/him) 12:14, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
"Cfx.re" or "CitizenFX"
I made an attempt at editing this in the past which was reverted so i'm just taking this here to avoid extra trouble. I cannot find any source to articulate that the "CitizenFX" name is no longer in use.
Their Patreon, which is still used for the monetization of server slots continues to refer to it as both Cfx.re and The CitizenFX Collective.[1]
The Take Two investor called had Strauss refer to it as "CitizenFX"[2].
While I will agree Cfx.re seems to be the preferred name (given its extensive usage), to me it seems to just be that; preference, not the exclusive name. So I'm unsure if "Formerly CitizenFX" is a statement that should be made in the history without more tangible evidence to suggest as such. Lucas7yoshi (talk) 01:59, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- Good catch—I've removed "formerly" and added a ref to verify. – Rhain ☔ (he/him) 02:05, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- Perfect, Hadn't caught that source while digging up the investor call. Thanks! Lucas7yoshi (talk) 02:09, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

Add to Rockstar LA's notes that it was acquired in 2023 as Standard Deviation, and is now Rockstar LA, they were previously motion capture hardware/software specialists.
