Move

< Omega (mathematics)→Omega (computer science) I think Omega (mathematics) should become Omega (computer science). That is what it is specifically about, and there is another omega constant found in mathematics. P.L.A.R. 02:51, 28 June 2006 (UTC) Has been moved. Merge

The concept described here seems to be identical with Chaitin constant. This should probably be a redirect to it. DJ Clayworth 21:02, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The reason I first created this was because I searched omega but not Chaitin and did not find anything. It would make more sense to have just one article.P.L.A.R. 02:58, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A redirect is definitely more appropriate than this article. There is, however, another Omega in computer science that this could be referring to, namely Big-omega notation. That would indicate that there should be a link to both Chaitin's constant and Big-omega notation on the Omega disambig. page. But those are both already there! So maybe this page should just be deleted... --Dantheox 23:35, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have put a redirect in.P.L.A.R. 20:55, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
