If I understand well the meaning is that this article is not really worth to be kept in the Wikipedia. If is might be the meaning...

... you should consider that this Oldtimer Grand Prix was one of the central events in these years in Europe. Only in England and on the Nürburgring had been similar events.

... wikipedia should not occupy with "moderne" sports and trends but even with the history of sport - and I am the opinion that the Oldtimer Grand Prix is one of the really worth mentioning events!

I am aware of the circumstance that the younger generation are not so familiar with the period of the 1970ies. But I hope that the article will stay there and some other fellows will complete it with fotos and personal memories. Mosaico 09:28, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In my view, I had thought at one point that this article should had been rewritten as nowadays everybody associate this event with the Nürburgring event, also the Porsche website [23] states this event as the 32nd running, but looking at the google search indicates that the Salzburgring event do exist therefore this page should be used as a ambig and this article should be called Oldtimer Grand Prix (Salzburgring) and the be called Oldtimer Grand Prix (Nürburgring). Oldtimer Grand Prix (Salzburgring)Oldtimer Grand Prix – This was moved back in 2007 by User:Willirennen to make way for a disambiguation page. The DAB lists only two events by this name, and as far as I can tell the article Oldtimer Grand Prix (Nürburgring) has never been created. As it is, we have a two-entry DAB with a redlink that has not turned blue for nearly twelve years, for which the second entry's blue link is to a more-general article that doesn't have any specific information on the German event.

I suggest a hatnote at the Austrian article (moved to the shorter name, and referencing the specific section ) is quite enough.

An alternative would be to make a {{R to section}} of that redlink as it is mentioned — in passing — at Nürburgring § 1984: New Grand Prix track. The R to DAB Oldtimer Grand Prix (disambiguation) is linked from the DAB Old-timer, but that can be rewritten to refer directly to the Austrian race. 92.249.211.16 (talk) 10:44, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
