He is widely considered as one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time and by some, the Greatest of All Time and the greatest Motorsport talent in the history. He is also considered as one of the greatest rain drivers of all time, often sparking debates between him and Ayrton Senna. AyushAKC (talk) 06:49, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Source? We generally avoid such statements in leads to avoid neutrality issues, having x World Championships generally covers this, and leaves it to the reader to decide. There are limited cases where success in F1 doesn't justify published opinion of the driver e.g. Stirling Moss and Chris Amon. If there are sources debating his greatness in the wet (which I agree should have a section to itself), as well as in general, it belongs in his "driver profile" section. Max Verstappen is literally the best f1 driver because he won in his second season. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:201:8A80:45B0:8F9A:B037:2F71:DD36 (talk) 21:23, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

There have been drivers who won in their first… Tvx1 21:27, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, Giancarlo Baghetti is the GOAT… MB2437 23:08, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

WP:SPA edits

We currently have a WP:SPA trying to overdetail the lead with unnecessary career statistics and overdetailing for clear promotional purposes. Are we able to reach a consensus against this? Coming here to avoid WP:3RR. MB2437 16:01, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Way too much redundant detail. Tvx1 20:58, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
