I replaced an anon-deleted item for unidentified Tacoma 12/17. There is no indication in the published media the deceased suicided. Deceased is still unidentified; Washington & Texas are both very slow in identifying police involved deaths. Pdx97217 (talk) 02:53, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
2014-12-04 Martinez, Raymond Keith (51) Louisiana (West Monroe) Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office shot and killed a homeless alcoholic Vietnam veteran. "He said when he wasn't drinking he had to remember and he didn't want to remember. He never bothered anybody," said local residents.[60][61][62]
This doesn't add up. If the deceased was only 51, he was too young to have served in 'Nam. He would have turned 18 in (roughly) 1981, after the war had ended. 61 or 71 makes more sense, but not 51. 50.184.46.19 (talk) 06:13, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed this too, but that is the information currently available. Evidence is sufficient, as you point out, to change his age to (??). I will do that.Pdx97217 (talk) 17:44, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I created a link from this page in order to create a page for Brandon Tate-Brown. I don't know if that was the right thing to do, since none of the other names in the list are linked, but it was the only way I knew to create a page. Feel free to unlink if appropriate. Jerame Reid ref
2014-12-30 Reid, Jerame (36): The reference (#7) points to a news article about a completely different shooting - a "Cody Evans, 24, of Springville" - on a completely different date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.55.212.184 (talk) 03:08, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for catching that. It looks like it was a copy/paste error that somebody forgot to update the URL, though the rest of the citation information was right. It's fixed now. --ProtectorServant (talk) 13:47, 29 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
