Where in this article is Carmen Sandiego?

Shouldn't she be in there? A•N•N•A hi! 23:33, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Carmen Sandiego has her own article. See here. 71.236.186.23 15:16, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't she at least be mentioned on this page? A•N•N•A hi! 20:48, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The player

In the video games, the player is reffered to as an unnamed ACME agent. Shouldn't he/she be mentioned as a charater too? --Ye Olde Luke 00:12, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think so. The second-person agent is definitely a character in the games! Shnizzedy (talk) 00:06, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just in Case we have a Missing Character Description

I came on here to see which game(s) Justin Case was featured in only to discover... nothing! Are there missing characters? Is there a good way to format a "featured in these games" section for each character, or at least a first and last appearance? Shnizzedy (talk) 00:06, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I distinctly remember Rockapella being on the show, not only musically but occasionally being semi-involved with the actual show as well ... there was an episode where they talked directly with contestants if I remember right. (from Where in the World...) Can anybody find the episode and confirm that?

Against the recent merge of the Carmen Sandiego (character) page to this page

The two pages where recently merged with very little discussion and time (only one month between proposal and merge again without significant discussion). While I understand a lot of the info was repeated between the two pages, this could have been easily corrected. Additionally, the Carmen Sandiego article could have been expanded with reception to the character herself which there is no longer room for in this article. The point is none of the other characters are notable on their own (hence the combined article), while I still believe that Carmen's notability can be reasonably proven and should have her own article again. This potential should have left a longer time before the proposal and merging of the articles. 207.237.208.153 (talk) 17:47, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

*head explodes*

Has anyone besides me noticed how insanely long the list of V.I.L.E. operatives is? I mean, it doesn't really seem like a big problem, but Where in the World is Anyone Who's Going to Want to Read It? Also, most of them have very little information, and often times it's not styled properly (see the V.I.L.E. Robots section too). I'm not exactly sure what I want to fix, or how I'd fix it, but this whole situation begs the question: Why? Why are we listing all the V.I.L.E. operatives? Just for posterity so we can say we have a list of all the Carmen Sandiego characters? Who's seriously going to want to read it? No offense to whoever went to the hard work of writing it (it must've been painful!), but I just don't see the point. StoryMakerEchidna (talk) 23:51, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some Brilliant Information - WOOHOO!!

Finding info on anything about Carmen Sandiego is actually quite hard... which seems counterintuitive, due to it being such a popular and prolific series. However I just found this document that is an EXCERPT FROM Carmen Sandiego's ThinkQuick Challenge Main Design Document. It has some invaluable information on the original character designs. If I get the time, I will use this information, but I sincerely encourage others to use it. There's some wonderful information that we can use to build on this article and give it some credibility. :D--Coin945 (talk) 09:56, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Chase Devineaux

The article says he has a role typically held by The Chief. This is not accurate. He is clearly a Special Agent, just like the special agents played by Greg Lee and Kevin Shinick in the two live action TV programmes. In Correct (talk) 07:58, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Independent notability

[1] @Bard Cadarn, unless you have sources that document significant coverage in multiple reliable, independent sources (?) about these characters as distinct from the rest of the series, the standard is to cover them within the confines of the parent article and to only split out summary style when warranted by length, etc. As for what articles do, the adage is "other stuff exists": those articles likely need cleanup too, but it doesn't excuse the condition or notability of this article. The only one hat I think is notable (besides Carmen herself) is The Chief - and only the version played by Lynne Thigpen. Many sources talk about her in the context of African-American representation in media in powerful roles, alongside the Latino Carmen. The rest? Ehh.--Coin945 (talk) 02:29, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
