Konkani (disambiguation)Konkani – I originally made this move request on WP:RMT on the 27th of May, but on the 27th and 28th of May, two editors considered it to be potentially controversial, so I've withdrawn it from there on the 29th of May, and moved it here instead. Anyway, the reason I'm requesting for this disambiguation page to be moved to the new title is per WP:DISAMBIG, WP:NCLANG and WP:NCET; because there are also other topics with the name 'Konkani' in their titles besides 'Konkani language', such as 'Konkani people', 'Konkani alphabets', 'Konkani cinema', 'Konkani literature', 'Konkani liturgical music', 'Konkani phonology', 'Konkani Muslims', 'Konkani in the Roman script', and 'Konkani language agitation'. • This was apparently short-circuited in 2011 with this bold edit with this rationale. It looks to have been based on an obsolete interpretation of WP:PTOPIC - we don't have an explanation if most actually means primary. It's customary to disambiguate adjectives that are names of places, languages, peoples, so this is an automatic Support from me unless a coherent rationale to the contrary is produced. --Joy (talk) 09:50, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
