Like some of my other articles, this is meant to link up various otherwise disconnected articles. Jackiespeel 16:42, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion

I will add a little paragraph on relations and cultures. --Shell 03:24, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I actually mistook this topic for another and I am removing my addition. --Shell 03:24, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Category

Might this be better categorized in Religious faiths, traditions and movements?User:Deleted_user_jj1 21:43, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think my change addresses some of the points - and the given title is shorter - I am not quite certain what is meant by JJ's comment. Developments in the several directions could be considered - I just started the article ;).

The Christianity and politics article could be matched by equivalents for other religions.

Redirect

Is there any reason why this should not be redirected to interfaith, which means the same thing? DJ Clayworth 18:17, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That article has been nominated for redevelopment as well.

I started the interrelious relations article without knowing of the interfaith one. There should definitely be an article or several on how various religions and sects (in the sense of subdivisions of a religion) view each other and interact. Areas covered could include, for example events in Northern Ireland and Scotland, "pillarisation" (as I think it is called) in Belgium, various recent statements made in the Middle East, and the complex situation in some churches (ie the buildings) in Jerusalem where different Christian groups have different claims to use and ecumenism.

If someone wishes to create an article to which both Interfaith and interreligious relations can be directed, and merge the texts and the above points, please do.
