Coronation gown of Camilla
DesignerBruce Oldfield
Year2023

On 6 May 2023, Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla, were coronated at Westminster Abbey. During the ceremony, Camilla wore an elaborately decorated gown and coat designed by Bruce Oldfield. Her entire ensemble featured silver and gold embroidery of wildflowers, dasies, and celadine and scarlet pimpernel. The gown itself exclusively bore goldwork of the floral emblems of the countries of the United Kingdom, including the Tudor rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock, lining the bottom of the gown. Embroidered in the center of the gown were her cypher and her two rescue dogs, Beth and Bluebell.[1][2]
