On pl wiki in the Category:Literary series we have subcategories by genre. Ex. pl:Kategoria:Serie wydawnicze z zakresu fantastyki - for sf, others for philosophy, computer science, etc. Books in such literary series share common cover design and such, but come from many different authors. The best exmaple I can find on en wiki is Category:Anthology series, but those are for anthologies. There are many literary series with articles like City Lights Pocket Poets Series, Heinemann African Writers Series, Penguin Classics. There isn't a specific literary series category they use though.
