New circles

@GMH Melbourne Any chance I could serve as a temporary coordinator and start up another review circle? There seems to be enough articles waiting and I am really a fan of this project as a whole and so would like to see it continue. Happy also to wait if you have plans to restart this soon. Thanks for your work! PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 03:29, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@PCN02WPS: Hello, sorry for only reading this now, I have a lot going on at the moment and probably will not be editing all to frequently for the next few months. Thank you for assuming the role of coordinator for the time being. I look forward to helping coordinate again once I start editing more frequently. Reminder about source availability

Pinging everyone on the nominations list: @Stevie fae Scotland, Joeyquism, Thebiguglyalien, Arconning, PCN02WPS, History6042, Chiswick Chap, and Chchcheckit: just a reminder to be mindful of the availability of sources in your articles. If your article is reliant, even partially, on offline sources that the average person does not have access to, chances are low that the user selected to review your article will have access to those sources. Two reviews have already been declined for this reason and I fear it could be a major roadblock to the project. Just from a very cursory glance, it appears that The Motherland Calls, Melania Trump, Papiermark, and Until the End may run into issues of this kind. Of course, I may be wrong, but if you feel this may apply to your nomination please consider switching it with one which uses sources available to the average user! Thanks all. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 17:01, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

For anyone wanting to review my articles: I am more than willing to type it out where applicable. I have all the print sources with me. Chchcheckit (talk) 17:04, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
also headds up: i just changed my article nomination because someone began reviewing it. Chchcheckit (talk) 15:11, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The Melania Trump book sources are available to anyone with a print-disabled archive.org account, which is free and is usually approved within a few days. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 17:05, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe it would be helpful if there were a practice of indicating where to find the sources if necessary when putting up a nomination here. Or when nominating the article in general. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 18:24, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone with access to archive.org, Google Books, and Wikipedia Library should be able to view the sources on The Motherland Calls. joeyquism (talk) 17:57, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like @Rollinginhisgrave: declined his review, may have to give my review to Rollinginhisgrave if that's okay, since I see you didn't significantly contribute to the article, and I will review Tumor necrosis factor. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 00:13, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I don't feel competent enough to evaluate whether WP:MEDRS is followed in Tumor necrosis factor, and you don't have to review it if you also don't feel confident. Rollinginhisgrave (talk) 00:21, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's okay, I'll review the article, just needs your approval. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 00:30, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Rollinginhisgrave (talk) 00:47, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, for a technical medical article like this, I really suggest it be taken by someone who's reviewed dozens of articles but also preferably has some experience working with medical sources. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 01:30, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is my first medical article review, so I don't know. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 02:17, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Simongraham reviewed Tropical Storm Talas, will add another nom by Rollinginhisgrave for F4U to review. (If that's okay) 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 08:10, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you clarify what you mean here? Rollinginhisgrave (talk) 09:30, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if this passes the "coordinator rules" (if there is one) but what I mean is that F4U didn't start the review page left and was swiped by simongraham, and I would probably add another of your nominations. But if you don't want to, I might close the circle until I find another option. WP:GAN/I#N4a might apply if simongraham accepts. Thanks, 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 09:35, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh right yes, you can add Ibsen Nelsen if you'd like, which isn't too long. Rollinginhisgrave (talk) 09:44, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
