A-Class articles, while not as rigorously reviewed as featured articles, are nevertheless considered to provide a well-written and complete treatment of the topic; they pass through a review process (the process may very somewhat depending on the project it was promoted through) before being selected. Currently, there are 159 A-Class articles within the scope of the project.
