• It has ACE - we really need a decision to keep it or not, but it seems we're leaning toward not having it in storm articles.
• The Infobox caption could use a bit more explaining. An outsider might be confused what "Pre-Max" is, which might turn them off from the article.
• Likewise, the lede should be better focused on Lidia and explain the Max situation a little better. Be very careful with explanation, as the lede should be the basic summary of the article. For example, these sentences confuse me a tad.
  • The wave was accompanied by at least one other tropical wave, which eventually developed into Hurricane Max, and slowly developed over the next several days. By September 17, the wave had become sufficiently organized to be declared Tropical Depression Twelve-E.
• You might want to mention the last time a tropical cyclone was absorbed by another one. That is the sole reason why Lidia is notable, after all.
• It'd be nice to have a bit more pre-formation history. When did the precursor start to organize, and where? When did the low form?
• was moving west-northwest at 5 mph (8 km/h) due to a lack of major steering currents - there must've been some steering currents for that motion. Check TWD's for synoptic features.
• At that time, Lidia was determined to have reached its peak intensity - how was its pressure determined?
• What did the NHC forecast Lidia would do after it would absorb pre-Max?
• restrict the northern outflow of the storm, preventing it from intensifying - links would be nice, and perhaps explain a bit more.
• Only a few bursts of deep convection were notable around the circulation of Lidia - poor wording
• Shortly before noon - UTC? EDT? PDT? PST? Times should be in UTC, but times alone aren't terribly useful. Try and fix.
• Deep convection redeveloped later that morning and the intensity was initially increased to 45 mph (75 km/h). However, in the post-season analysis supplied by the National Hurricane Center, it was determined that Lidia had never intensified further than 40 mph (65 km/h) - is there any way that could be condensed a bit? It's only a 5 mph difference.
• In fact, could the last five sentences of the MH be shortened? It's all just rambling about how the circulation was absorbed.
• Did Lidia ever come close to any of the islands off the coast of Mexico?
• Is there another pic, perhaps?
• Are all four "see also" links needed? List of Pacific hurricanes is generally reserved for record-breaking storms.
