Gfrederic (talk) 06:45, 11 June 2015 (UTC) After few changes and adding references I would like to know if the article is good now. Thank you[reply]

@Gfrederic: Thank you for fixing the copyright/close paraphrasing problems. The draft is back in the queue and in due course a reviewer will determine whether it's good enough for approval yet. Meanwhile you might find it instructive to browse Wikipedia's featured and good biographies in the area of health, medicine, and biology. Note that they don't list a subject's journal articles, patents, or trademarks.
Other reading that could help you improve the chances of the draft being accepted includes the policy Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons, the guidelines Wikipedia:Manual of Style and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biographies and the how-to guide Help:Referencing for beginners. Hello Wiki-Team, I had the comment under my draft, that I need to remove the inline-links, but I don´t know which ones where ment. The ones that refer to already existing Wiki Articles or the ones connectet to i.e. the Awardees?

I´m happy about a short feedback, Annika --Annika Schonefeld (talk) 08:35, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Annika Schonefeld:. What the editor referred to were "external links", or in other words, links to external (not Wikipedia) websites. These would include the links to the German Wikipedia, Facebook, and physnet.org. External links don't belong in the article's prose, only in the external links section at the bottom. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 20:33, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you for your help. I deleted the links within the text. Please be so kind and have a short look. I would like to post it as a "real article" shortly. What do you think? Many thanks in advance, Annika --Annika Schonefeld (talk) 11:02, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

13:05:29, 11 June 2015 review of submission by Bhootjholakhia

Hello,

I created this page as a reference page for food tourism in India which is still a nascent field here. As with most new things like this, there are no scholarly sources, just some news articles from different publishing houses which I have linked wherever appropriate. If there is something wrong with what I wrote, kindly mention it and I can modify it accordingly. It's not meant to promote some event, company or person but to spread awareness.

Bhootjholakhia (talk) 13:05, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The biggest problem I can see is that this Draft appears to be recommending or promoting a particular type of service. So for example "A food tour or a cooking class in the country of origin of that cuisine is the best thing for them" ... "a great way of discovering a place in detail" ... "can be easily assimilated in almost every travel plan to enhance the sightseeing and city discovery experience" ... "This is a good option for business travellers, people on a stop over and tourists who have limited time" ... "Following is a list of activities which can be included" ... Hello,

Regarding the article I submitted, I am not sure what "neutral" here means. It's not a promotion of any individual, business or organization. It's meant as an information article about an activity in India. I have also attached a number of references from various sources, academic as well as news. Is there something else which still needs to be done ?

I sent two three reputable references this morning on the draft Back of the Dragon - two were Motorcycling magazines, the other a reputable newspaper. What am I doing wrong?TCVCJ (talk) 20:15, 11 June 2015 (UTC) TCVCJ (talk) 20:15, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @TCVCJ: It looks like you've been adding your references to your edit summary. The edit summary is basically just a short description of what you did in your edit (such as 'added a reference'). People will see it when they view the article's history. The references themselves should be in the article itself, not your edit summaries. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 20:29, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

22:50:50, 11 June 2015 review of submission by Alannaldrett

Alan Naldrett 22:50, 11 June 2015 (UTC) Could someone help me add categories and links to the Francis Palms page? Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alannaldrett (talkcontribs) 22:50, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Alannaldrett: Editors from all across the encyclopedia will help fix those things as soon as they get to it. Articles for Creation deals specifically with creating articles that don't exist yet, in other words getting ideas to the stage that Francis Palms is already at.
A more serious problem is that everything in Wikipedia needs to be verifiable, but the article cites no sources. Concentrate on that problem first. For help with referencing, try Help:Referencing for beginners or ask at the Teahouse. --Worldbruce (talk) 23:46, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
