- Evidence: Both Numerao and CompositeFan accounts have been active sporadically over the past year, and are active at roughly the same time (see contributions). Both are number-related usernames, and most edits for both users are on number-related articles. Most recently both have edited Road to Germany. Numerao added a contentious edit here (previously making the same edit [1], then CompositeFan re-added it here. Both were active between 8 March and 14 March 2008, with an extended break both before and after for both users. Numerao was active 27 June to 1 July, then not again until Ocotber 30. CompositeFan was active on 30 June, then made 5 edits until active again on 29 October. On 27 June, Numerao made this edit, changing a bulleted section into paragraphs, and on 30 June, CompositeFan did the same here.
PrimeFan has been more active than the other two. The username is very very close to CompositeFan, and the overwhelming majority of their edits are to number articles. On 1 July they made these two edits, changing a bulleted section into a paragraph. PrimeFan made an edit at Talk:Road to Germany here.
Thanks for your time, and I await the results. Grsz11 →Review! 21:42, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- These users all appear to be sock puppets to me. As mentioned by, Grsz11 →Review!, they all have number related user names (which obviously in and of itself doesn't mean they are socks), but the combined sporadic editing of Numerao and Compositefan at roughly the same time makes it pretty obvious they are the same user. They also have very similar edit summaries, on the Road to Germany edits, Grsz mentioned above. CTJF83Talk 06:25, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- That's what you get for cooperating through a WikiProject instead of by IRC. Numerao (talk) 15:11, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- So anyone who changes bulleted lists to paragraphs is a sockpuppet? Give me a break. How deeply did you look into the contribution list? So I've only edited "Road to Germany" and number articles, right? Apparently, it's also a crime to wonder why a fellow project member has taken an interest on something outside the project and then find oneself in agreement with them. Speaking only for myself, judge-jury-executioner-in-one Grsz11, go ahead and mete out your punishment to me. But if you really want to punish me you will also take down my facebook and myspace pages. - Umm...what do Myspace or Facebook have to do with Wikipedia? We are noting that Numerao and CompositeFan's edits are very sporadic, and around the same time. Is that just a coincidence? CTJF83Talk 19:57, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
