Suspected sockpuppets

User RMY was created just several days after the creation of 3BluePenguins.[1][2] Both are said to be of Assyrian descent and are especially concerned about the articles of Rosie Malek-Yonan and George Malek-Yonan.[3][4]. Both keep saying the exact same ungrounded ethno-nationalistic phrase on those articles, namely that despite Rosie Malek-Yonan was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, that she is Assyrian and not Iranian even though Iranian is a nationality and Assyrian is an ethnicity (and dont have a state/nor own passport) and Assyrians from Iran (just like Armenians/Georgians from Iran) are usually mentioned as Iranian-Assyrians or Assyrian-Iranians. A phrase more often seen on Wikipedia by other ethnicities from West Asia that sadly currently yet don't have an own state.

Both also keep removing the exact same categories that link Rosie Malek-Yonan to her country of origin, birth and upbringing, namely Iran. This is fully in line with the same ethno-nationalistic mantra they keep pertaining as demonstated above, by which they remove logical categories from the Rosie Malek Yonan page. Strong behavioural evidence is seen as 3BluePenguins removed the above mentioned categories at 05:45 26 April 2015 [5] and user RMY removed the exact same categories several hours later on the exact same page at 23:32 26 April 2015. [6] Note how the content of their edit summaries is exactly the same. RMY subsequently removed the categories again a day later after I had added them with an edit summary saying [7] with an edit summary that is again fully in line with the mantra 3BluePenguins and RMY have said before.

I refuse to believe that user RMY who claims to be Rosie Malek-Yonan herself, comes to Wikipedia to fight off an ungrounded rationale in order to remove categories on "her" page that link her to her country of origin/birth/upbringing. The rationale portrayed here is simply fully in line with ethnic nationalism as we often see it on the internet and therefore I believe given the evidence posted, that these two users are created by the same person. Or it happens to be some crazy coincidence that both users, created at around the same time, have the exact same rationale, have the exact same ethno-nationalistic stance, the exact same edit summary, make the exact same category deletions, and do so very shortly after each other within a few hours, but given the evidence that idea does not have the advantage of the doubt. At least mine. LouisAragon (talk) 17:35, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

Easy one;

  • BlackPango got registered on 23 June 2015, literally just a few days after the sockmaster and his socks got indeffed (May 2015).
  • BlackPango started editing a mere ~ 2 months after the sockmaster + active socks were indeffed.[8]
  • BlackPango's sole concerns are related to the exact same article (in fact basically the only article he has edited) that "Zayya" and his socks were extremely bothered and concerned about, namely "Rosie Malek-Yonan". This is obviously a low-profile article.
  • BlackPango got the very same concerns as Zayya + his socks, namely to remove the category "American people of Iranian descent", "American people of Assyrian-Iranian descent".[9][10][11]

Even if the archives are stale, the evidence presented should be more than sufficient to block per WP:DUCK. - LouisAragon (talk) 05:12, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Shmayo:, interesting how that "material" sounds awkwardly similar to the stuff "she" posted on my talk page back in 2015 - that "she" however, simply turned out to be another CU blocked sock of this Zayya though.[12] This sockmaster has pretended on numerous earlier occassions to the person in question, yet "they" all simply turned out to be socks of Zayya. - LouisAragon (talk) 17:36, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
OH, btw, I removed those cats. Not gonna waste a further picosecond of my time with that. #2muchobsession4me - LouisAragon (talk) 17:38, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Added another account. Created 20 March 2017, 6 days after BlackPango's last edit. The account has made two edits in total, and was solely created to remove information that mentioned the relationship between the person mentioned in the article and Iran,[13] fully akin to what the sockmaster, BlackPango and CU blocked socks have done numerous times in the past, and which is a key editorial habit that connects them.[14][15][16][17][18][19] - LouisAragon (talk) 05:41, 28 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know whether it adds any information to this case or not, but Rosie Malek-Yonan posted this yesterday. Shmayo (talk) 16:28, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

 Stale. CU declined.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:10, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The filer changed the status from CU declined to CU requested. I've changed it back to CU declined. If a clerk feels a check based on just the two suspected puppets is justified and/or needed, they should endorse a check.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:09, 28 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Commenting for now: I will be indeffing both accounts as meatpuppets of an indef blocked editor in a day or two if another admin doesn't beat me to it. DUCK certainly applies here. In 2015, after the previous SPI, I received an email from Zayya claiming this was all a big mistake and it was merely a shared network where the people just happened to know about the same topics and discuss them. Meanwhile, RMY emailed me and owned that Zayya and 3BluePenguins were a part of RMY's management team which is why they are on a same network (admission of meatpuppetry). RMY's email also contained a legal threat which I addressed by pointing to NLT. Apparently, they also share the same email address...I still have these emails. Sock or MEAT, it won't make a difference soon. Oh, per DENY we should not give recognition to off wiki complaints made by indef blocked editors on our article talk pages. We should not assist harassing behavior and I have removed this from that talk page.

  • Indeffing both socks with tags and closing.

  • Post archive note: Both BlackPango and Zayya blanked their talk pages within five minutes of each other last night (1, 2). That would indicate that they are both controlled by the same person.
