A cursory check of Template:Skagit County, Washington leads me to believe this may qualify as LTA. We have similar weird edits there going back to at least August 2014 [11], and from September 2014, this [12] edit by a CU confirmed sock of Brightify whose contribs elsewhere go back to October 2012. This is stale but maybe helps to list it anyway. WP:DUCK hoaxing/twiddling of businesses and children's television. Specifics follow.

First: Hoaxing/vandalism to Pacific Northwest businesses, Office Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond.

  • REI [89], Costco [90] are Seattle based companies
  • Office Depot [91] this can be considered VP signature editing pattern
  • Bed Bath & Beyond [92]. Bed Bath & Beyond has been vandalized in 2016 exclusively by a string of VP socks (also prior to 2016 by Brightify's Banclarknn) and now by this account.

Second: this account used to twiddle Counterfeit Cat [93] which was also target of a CU confirmed VP sock [94].

Other: Home Depot was also vand by this account [95] and by suspected VP sock Erwinemil [96] of course they also vandalized Office Depot in the signature style [97]. Hi, another account with similar behaviour was CompUSA, blocked in September this year. I spotted blatant vandalism and they were indefblocked but I'm not sure anyone made the connection. Also the new Taxesstoic account which popped up yesterday and will probably soon be blocked seems to be almost exactly the same. Putting this here in case it's useful. I added another recent sock we missed, User:Nicetints, just for the record. Also, Berean Hunter, if I understand correctly, the only reason you want to keep this case open is to merge it with Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Brightify? Because I think that was proposed once already and rejected. If it would be too complicated, then I recommend closing this and simply being done with it.
