Suspected sockpuppets

Two accounts commenting on the same topics with the exact same formatting, language and arguments. Account made its first edit on 16 August 2021, and has only edited talk pages associated with Afghanistan in relation to the recent seizure of power by the Taliban. See e.g. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Panjshir resistance, where the accounts make the same comments, word for word (except the preamble in the first comment about AfDing another article) Orcaguy | Write me | Mon œuvre 08:45, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I was not finding the perfect word to comment there so I copy pasted a user's comment because I agree with him. This is my only single account on Wikipedia. Syed Aashir | Write me | 09:23, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have only posted on a single account. My IP might have potentially been slightly different for one post since I made one post from my phone and the rest from my PC.
  • I'm assuming good faith here as per the rules, but I honestly can't comprehend why you would think I'm using multiple accounts.
  • This account is also not new, I registered it at a previous date and I'll have to take it on faith that I haven't previously posted before the 16th since I'm unsure how I would check that. I hadn't created my user page until the 16th, so that might be the cause of your confusion about the age of my account. --The Gentle Sleep (talk) 08:55, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Edit - Oh, I see what you're talking about now, someone copied my message. I don't know anything about that, I can only assume they liked my argument and decided copying it was easier than just stating that they agree with me.
  • Assuming arguendo that I was using a sock, why would I copy my message word for word in such a way and then post it in a thread where I already made an identical statement? That doesn't make any logical sense. The Gentle Sleep (talk) 09:06, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
