Suspected sockpuppets

When "Yournewsboy" deleted the message of Raymondskie99 in my talk page, I talked to Yournewsboy about it. He(Yournewsboy) replied with this statement: "lol i was the one who wrote that talk (message) i just removed it because the task is done or wrong user talk page..." However, it wasn't Yournewsboy who talked to me about it; it was Raymondskie99.

They also live in the same place, Davao City, and they have similar, if not the same, interest in topics relating to sea creatures. The Raymondskie99 account's activity involved deleting file deletion tags as well as uploading copyrighted images and copy pasting copyrighted content. All accounts do disruptive editing.

  • Comment by Loopy30. I have been aware of multiple accounts since late January, as both edit the same articles and the user pages were at one time nearly identical (Raymondskie99 and Yournewsboy). User has been advised/warned on several occasions (diff 1, diff 2, diff 3, diff 4, diff 5, diff 6, diff 7, diff 8, diff 9) for disruptive editing. I assumed good faith at the time, but now user is using IP address and alternate account to vandalize articles (diff 1, diff 2, diff 3). Multiple warnings for copyright violations, unsourced edits and disruptive editing have been left at user talk page but WP:CIR and/or maturity of editor may be an issue. Recreation of articles last socks created, such as Saints and Sinners Bingo and Omnideck 6, and same interest on video games, just like Personale, who is confirmed by CheckUser Bbb23 to Raymondskie99. Possible ducking, once again writing draft articles and editing actual articles mostly related to video games, just like Personale, Hansonjay, and other IPs within the 49.1* range. He even has the same writing style as well when asking for help ([2]). Notice most of the drafts he has edited are usually non-notable, and have been repeatedly declined, and see how he improperly names his sources (it should be the actual title of the article source, but instead he usually names only websites, see deleted contribs between Personale (especially the article Saints and Sinners Bingo); and the IPs: [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]).

Majority of this IP's contributions were removing problem tags without actually giving effort to fixing said problem, using the same edit summary "not anymore", which is also used in edits like [9] [10], [11], [12], [13], [14], [15], and [16], sorted from oldest to newest. This time, he's now editing articles mostly related to the Philippines, China, and Singapore, which may make sense since he claims on Personale's user page that he's Chinese, but living in the Philippines. This user, just like Raymondskie99 and their sockpuppets, creates articles about (non-notable) game characters. They add copyrighted content on pages (Max Caulfield, Delsin Rowe, and will check their other articles they created), just like previous socks of this user.

They also recreated an article previously deleted as G5 by Anthony Bradbury because it was created by a sock of Raymondskie99. Then tey also use the word "socks" despite being at Wikipedia for only 6 hours (seems like they aren't really new). So to sum up: same articles, also copyvios, and clearly more knowledgable than a new user would be. MrClog (talk) 12:15, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Some (maybe all) of the articles were previously edited by Raymondskie99 or his socks. Given their interest in birds and jellyfish and a user page stating that they hail from the Phillipines, this new user quacks loud and proud.
