Suspected sockpuppets


See [1], acknowledges the account as his, which I would have picked up from my watch list anyway. I don't believe this is a legitimate use of multiple accounts from my reading of policy as he hasn't declared the other account, the purpose of the account and he is editing the same page. Withdrawn my earlier comment, I presumed this was an honest mistake but after seeing that check user I recognise one of those names as someone who reverted to restore a contentious edit by Phoenix500. Appears to be socking disruptively. Wee Curry Monster talk 18:10, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

 Clerk note: Given the fact that [2] here, Phoenix500 stated that he had made edits on his sisters account, which presents the issue of either account security or account sharing. Something does need to be done here, but I'm not too sure if blocking both accounts would be the best solution. Given the fact they likely edit from the same house, account sharing/security is an issue. Perhaps issuing a stern warning to Phoenix reminding them that they are only to edit from their own account would suffice, as they seem to do a fair bit of decent work here with images, and I dunno if a block would be in our best interests as a project, but I'd be happy to get thoughts from fellow clerks. I came across after scanning through the new user list.  Confirmed the following are the same:
