1. Both editors have similar usernames and created few months apart from each other 2. There is an overlap of articles they edit specifically Revolutions of 1989 and North Korea. 3. Both accounts appear to be making multiple "test edits" to increase their edit count.

4. On North Korea I had asked Otddung to discuss for consensus on the article talk page, in an edit summary and on the user talk page. See User_talk:Otddung#North_Korea because of Special:MobileDiff/998433375.

Tdung555+ came along and undid that exact same edit, which another editor subsequently undid. See Special:MobileDiff/998505262 and my note on user talk page Special:MobileDiff/998600565 Vikram Vincent 04:55, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A relatiely new account that mainly started editing a few hours after the previous sock (Nguyễn Phúc Vy) was blocked (although the first edit was before the initial SPI block). The new account has an overlap with the previous socks at Revolutions of 1989 and Korea and also exhibits the same overlinking behavior (cf. Yes, I reverted those edits but I want to apologise for some and Defend some.
In The Korea page, I added the Arirang Anthem as a sporting and reunification anthem, but the edit I made on Goguryeo was reverted, and I did not contest that.
Now about the anti-communist Revolutions of 1989, I was to ask why you removed the infobox of Civil Conflicts. It was very informative with Warsaw Pact Hardliners, Communists and their support vs. the Anti-communists, Nationalists , and Christian regimes and their support. AND NO, I only have one account. I am no sockpuppet, or whatever you call it.

Edits that particularly stand out are their edits to vi:Trung Nguyên, an article where half the edits since the start of last year have come from PVR socks, and vi:Kình địch bóng đá Việt Nam – Thái Lan, the English version of which is currently semi-protected to prevent socking from PVR. Both of these accounts were registered a few hours after the most recent sock was globally locked. Both have created a userpage consisting of a single letter then immediately blanked it (on frwiki in the case Bavaorya). Bavaorya restored questionable date changes by previous socks to fr:Union des républiques socialistes soviétiques and made similar date changes to fr:Chute des régimes communistes en Europe. PVR has long exhibited odd self-reverting behaviour. This seen perhaps most clearly with cross wiki conduct by Relmyin (talk · contribs). All the wikis where they made just one edit, that edit was a revert of one they themselves made while logged out. The two articles Zhangzuning edited on zhwiki have seen 10 self-reverts by PVR in the last two weeks, so a new account showing up to revert edits by a known PVR ip looks rather suspicious. I noticed that this recently-created account's edits to Korea had a similar editing pattern as PVR and their socks:

  • Multiple small edits in a short amount of time
  • Almost never uses edit summaries
  • Only mobile web edits

The narrow topic focus is also reminiscent of PVR's recent socks', i.e.:

  • Vietnam-related articles
  • German / Austrian history, especially in regard to World War I and the German Empire
  • Korea, specifically Korean history described in the eponymous article

Editing-wise, Bethooment also has a tendency to write long run-on sentences and paragraphs. They also emphasise the same content (e.g. Panmunjom, (re)unification of Korea / Germany, Allied-occupation of Korea / Germany / Austria); compare these edits by a blocked sock of PVR and these recent edits by Bethooment. Here we have a seemingly Vietnamese speaking editor (see their contribution to viwiki diff 1), registered shortly after the most PVR socks were blocked. Their only contribution to eswiki (diff 2) was to change the date of the Austrian Anschluss consistent with edits from previous PVR socks. (diff 3). On this project they share a number of PVR's interests, including the imperial eras of Germany and Japan, and most notably the Saar Protectorate, exemplified by their very first contribution here, (diff 4).
