Skipbaize recreated the Rick Marty page and also two Richard Madenfort pages, all of which were the focus of Noneof_yourbusiness48.

Draftwait created the Rick Marty (musician) page in the same manner.

When Skipbaize was reverted, IP I81 reverted back.[1] IP 181 also added the newly made biography link to a dab page.[2] These three appear to be working in concert with each other to promote guitarist/producer Richard Madenfort aka Rick Marty. Binksternet (talk) 01:57, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

66.87.121.137 edited The Life of Pablo, an article Kellymoat and I had been blocked for edit warring over. [This edit] was the same as the [edits I was making.] Elmodivot [reverted this edit] citing 'block evasion' as the reason. [They also warned] 66.87.121.137 for using multiple IP addresses.

Looking at Elmodivot's contributions, Elmodivot had been inactive for a year before these activities. Further, Kellymoat's account was created one month after Emodivot went inactive: (Oldest page of Kellymoat's logs: [[3]]) At a glance, Emodivot's few edits are similar to Kellymoat's edits, largely being reversions on music-related articles.

66.87.121.137 appears to be a publicly accessible IP, based on the infrequent editing and multiple warnings.

Based on this evidence, it is my suspicion that Kellymoat used these sockpuppets in an attempt to make it look like I was evading my ban. Cjhard (talk) 14:32, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you believe that, I have some magic beans to sell you.

Here I am having to create a sock account for the sole purpose of responding to a sock investigation. Ironic. Also ironic is the fact that MariaJaydHicky has been on Serge's page accusing others of being me. Serge's response was "open an SPI", and an hour later someone is here opening an SPI. Some of Serge's statements even appear in the above section being used as "evidence" against me. But it wasn't the same person here that was on Serge's page.

No, none of those are me. In fact, during my THREE recent blocks, all of MJH's edits that appeared on my watchlist were reverted. But by numerous people, instead of just me. I have made 13,000 edits on 5,000 separate pages. I can damn-well guarantee I have edited the same pages as many editors - including those who are going to be passing judgment in this investigation.

Tangojaded: Kellymoat was blocked very late on July 22, and after arguing about the block a bit on July 23, went silent for a bit. Tangojaded began editing on July 24th. This band new editor just happened to jump in to a number of the same articles Kellymoat edits. If you look at the chart, there's at least 14 articles that Kellymoat had edited in this past month even. Not only do they make the same exact edits (Kellymoat, Tangojaded. The latter dif is also telling - it refers to making the edit because they were reverting a long-term vandal, which is A) a primary thing Kellymoat does on Wikikpedia and B) not something a new editor would know about or understand after just a couple days of editing.

That brings me to my second area of concern: Tango's responses look like they were written by Kellymoat.

  • One editor reported Tango to me as a sock of Kellymoat.
  • I asked Tango about this inquiry.
  • Tango's response was that 1) to note how multiple editors accused him of being multiple other editors, and to suggest I look into the people reporting him instead.
  • This is telltale for 2 reasons:
    • In the discussion section about reporting Kellymoat socks, only Kellymoat is accused of being multiple other users. (Everyone listed in this SPI.) Tango is only accused of being one person based off of the accusation of one editor]. Basically, it really looks like Kelly answered as Kelly while using the Tango account.
    • It's a Kellymoat trademark to, when being warned/blocked for edit warring, to complain about how suspicious it is that people report him, and suggest that be looked into. Similar response here or . So it's a very similar response, not commonly found in other editors, let alone new, inexperienced ones.

Tyinggish is suspicious because they came out of a year long period of inactivity to start editing on July 24th, just after Kellymoat was blocked. Additionally, most of their edits were reverting an editor who was blocked for being a sock of "MariaJaydHicky", which is one of Kellymoats primary activities on the project.

Swimsnunki' is exactly the same situation at Tyinggish above, per their contribs.

Way too many coincidences here. Was looking for some extra confirmation to avoid endless arguing and unblock requests that could come with a simple DUCK block. Pinging Bbb23, who is experiencedd with both SPI and dealing with Kellymoat. Sergecross73 msg me 14:47, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Mostly edits on pages Kellymoat was editing on. All are reversions like Kellymoat, and reverting User:Dakota.reeves18 as Kellymoat had done.

Theidolsclose reverting Dakota.reeves18: [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

Kellymoat reverting Dakota.reeves18 on the same articles: [9] [10] [11] [12] [13]

Continues the tradition of edit-warring with MariaJaydHicky socks across multiple articles [14] [15] [16] [17]. The user intersects with Kellymoat on a certain low-traffic article, Zbigniew Robert Promiński (Tunedprice created redirects to the article). Sro23 (talk) 23:20, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

All 4 suspected socks made a similar change to Ariana Grande discography, in which Jason's Song is moved to "Promotional singles" without consensus. Sockmaster previously retargeted Jason's Song (Gave It Away) to Promotional singles for the same reasons. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 03:35, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • For what it's worth, the way the IPs completely disregard Billboard as a reliable source and argue over whether or not songs are singles, are very similar to traits of Elmo, so I can see the similarity in that respect. Sergecross73 msg me 03:54, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have nothing to do with these IP addresses and edits, I wasn't aware of them until I was first accused. These edits and IP addresses have nothing to do with me, since becoming unblocked, I have taken my arguments to the talk page, as I am supposed to. I'm trying to get things right this time, I would never do anything like this, I accepted that I was edit-warring, and after two failed appeals, I decided it was best to just wait out my block, which I did. Fan4Life (talk) 22:38, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That aside, you have four blocks due to edit warring, which was also a trait of Elmo during his use of his Kellymoat sock. I strongly support doing a full SPI. Personally, I feel like its starting to move into DUCK territory, but we're already here, so we may as well follow through on the SPI all the way this time. No evidence of sockpuppetry has been presented. Elmodivot has never edited any of the articles linked to by the creator of this report, let alone made the "same reverts" as the alleged sockpuppet. The same IP editor previously made the same unsupported report at ANI, and I took the trouble to explain that more explanation was required than just "same revert" and also to point out that Elmodivot had never edited the pages. To then post exactly the same thing here is disruptive and a waste of time. I am closing this baseless report. Fan4Life was blocked on the 10th August for 2 weeks for edit warring[18], 2 days later they asked on their talkpage for content to be changed at the Ariana Grande discography article which I declined [19], So on the 13th, 14th, 17th and 19th they'd logged out and made the changes as the above IP, As this IP made the exact same changes that F4L requested on their TP and that their edit summaries are almost identical I believe this is more than just a coincidence, Thanks –Davey2010Talk 18:42, 21 August 2017 (UTC) (Updated 00:23, 22 August 2017 (UTC))[reply]

Extensive similarity on articles edited with User:Kellymoat, Elmodivot's main sockpuppet: [20]. Same editing activity (extensive reversions) as Kellymoat. I recognise that this sock has been reported before, but I'm pinging Sro23 and Sergecross73 who have experience with Kellymoat/Elmo and will be able to identify whether this one's a duck. The reported IP addresses are only the most recent ones used by Elmodivot. Category:Suspected_Wikipedia_sockpuppets_of_Elmodivot shows earlier IP addresses in the 73.79.23* range used by Elmodivot. Behaviour on these IP addresses is identical to Elmodivot/Kellymoat's behaviour as reported in the SPI archive. (Extensive reversions on music articles, particularly articles related to Taylor Swift.) Editor interact tool demonstrating this: [24]. I don't have the knowledge to request the appropriate measure (would a rangeblock work?) to avoid playing sockpuppet whack-a-mole into the future, so whatever works. • It does seem to look like Elmo/Kellymoat's work - massive reverts on genre and categories across Taylor Swift and similar artists articles against another IP that is doing the same thing, neither leaving edit summaries. A lot of people in that sort of subject area, and none of his bizarre outlier articles were touched this time, so I think me doing a WP:DUCK block on this one would have possibly been a bit hasty, but I definitely see what CJ is getting at here, its a very credible claim. Been suspicious of Fandomuser21 for some time now, mainly because the account behaves exactly like previous sock User:Kellymoat did (nearly all edits are genre warring reverts on music related articles - note editor interaction). Fandomuser21 has been edit warring with another user on Drake (musician) ([26] [27] [28]), and recently new user Dakarsolo has restored their edit ([29]).

Also, for some reason these socks always have to create blank userpages ([30] [31]). Requesting CU both to confirm sockpuppetry and to fish out any other missed accounts. Sro23 (talk) 23:18, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Account was created in September 2018, shortly after Noneof yourbusiness48's previous sockpuppet was banned.
