Maskman2003 created Draft:Udaykrishna Cinematic Universe and TheWriter2003 created Draft:Udayakrishna Cinematic Universe. There is also a heavy overlap between these two. [1]. Their similarity in names is also striking. Sreenandan CK and other two accounts are interested in the subject Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval. I have seen this similar naming convention somewhere else but don't exactly remember those. There could be possible other accounts. Thesixserra (talk) 16:10, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Firefly, is there any connection between this and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jehowahyereh. Jehowahyereh created Abhilash Pillai (film writer) which was later moved to draftspace after they were blocked for UPE (later confirmed abusing wikipedia using multiple accounts). Later Christopheronthemove moved it back to mainspace. It was again moved to draftspace by someone after Christopheronthemove was blocked as a sock of Jehowahyereh. Now TheWriter2003 suddenly shows up, created the article again in the mainspace. I see some connections here. 202.164.137.17 (talk) 14:54, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Behaviourally those seem like distinct cases - "create page in draftspace and then move it to mainspace" is a very common tactic among spammers / UPEs, and not diagnostically useful when trying to determine which group an account could belong to. firefly ( t · c ) 15:55, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Exact name using numbering. Recreation of Titto P Thankachen (earlier by Maskman2003) and Abhilash Pillai (film writer) as Abhilash Pillai (screenwriter). More than enough behavioural evidence. Recreation of Abhilash Pillai (film writer) under the new title Abhilash Pillai (writer). The title Abhilash Pillai (film writer) has been already salted by Explicit due to continuos socking. The previous sockpuppet tried to create it with the new title Abhilash Pillai (screenwriter). Now the 7 days old ID Raaz Bihari has recreated it exactly the same promotional way, this time under the title Abhilash Pillai (writer) (moved to draftspace by Discospinster due to blatant promotion). 111.92.79.2 (talk) 06:41, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Recreated Abhilash Pillai (writer) (earlier created by socks under the title Abhilash Pillai (film writer) and Abhilash Pillai (screenwriter)) and added the image of subject. Clear UPE concerns. Also recreated article K. R. Krishna Kumar which too has serious UPE concerns. 202.164.137.22 (talk) 09:28, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

As per Bbb23's message on my talk page:

I just blocked Hector Kennedy as a sock of the above. I stumbled across Hector and Viktor Kennedy when reviewing the speedy deletion request of Titto P Thankachen, an article previously created by a Jhonny sock. Based on both editors' involvement in the article and the obvious username similarity, I looked at their edits. I wasn't convinced they were the same person, but I was convinced the Hector was a sock of Mark Jhonny. Here is an EIA of the two users + Kelee Nayak, a Jhonny sock. Anyway, from my non-CU perspective, all the Jhonny accounts are stale, but I was wondering if you could compare Hector and Viktor to see if they are likely to be the same person?

I find Bbb23's explanation pretty compelling and am somewhat hopeful we may be able to tie at least one account back to other sockpuppets, based on historical CU data. Let's see. Yamla (talk) 21:55, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • The two named accounts here are  Unlikely to each other, based on technical data. There's not much recent activity on Viktor Kennedy but what there is shows these are likely different people operating in the same large geographical area. As to the historical data on the older blocked socks, there's not much to go on. However, I'd say Viktor Kennedy is  Unlikely but on the other hand, Hector Kennedy is  Possilikely (a mix between possible and likely) to previously blocked Mark Jhonny socks. Given that I'm only able to look at historical data, I was surprised I was able to find a match that close. Not enough to claim Hector Kennedy is CU-confirmed but certainly another piece of evidence in favour of the sockblock. I suspect future socks will match against this data. --Yamla (talk) 22:13, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rictor Kennedy created 29 February. Overlapping edits with (blocked) Hector and (not yet blocked) Viktor above, then recreated Titto P Thankachen today. Predictor Kennedy and Boa Constrictor Kennedy should turn up before long. Wikishovel (talk) 15:40, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:Rictor Kennedy also restored edits by User:Hector Kennedy at Benyamin (writer), following revert by User:Bbb23 on 27 Feb.
And I feel compelled to add: "Roger, Roger. What's our Rictor, Hector?" Wikishovel (talk) 18:00, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • CheckUser requested - Based on Yamla's comments on February 27, 2024, in the archive, a check of Rictor Kennedy will be helpful. Bbb23 (talk) 13:45, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rictor and Hector are  Highly likely to each other. Blocking Rictor. I agree with Yamla's comments from the previous filing; Viktor Kennedy seems  Possible at best from the data I have, with some indications that it might be a different person. But with the usernames, this and this, it's hard to believe that something isn't going on.... Spicy (talk) 20:36, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Given the account creation was one day after the sockmaster was blocked, I'm surprised Viktor wasn't caught sooner. The new behavioral evidence combined with the CU result is more than enough to justify a block.  Blocked and tagged. Closing. The WordsmithTalk to me 22:17, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Like Hector Kennedy and Maskman2003, there is a focus on creating an article on Draft:Sharis Mohammed which has experienced CSD G5 speedy deletion. I moved this article from main space to Draft space and noticed this had occurred before with these other two sockpuppets. Liz Read! Talk! 06:29, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
