MEAUSA appears to be a single purpose account to write about Manny Cid, a local mayor in Florida whose article is currently being AfD'd. MEAUSA has only edited Manny Cid, Miami Lakes, Florida, 2024 Miami-Dade County mayoral election, and the AfD.

At the discussion, MEAUSA proceeds to vote keep and post an external article (diff) regarding the AfD & the editor nominating the article for deletion. They made this comment on 16 Feburary.

Two days later, LadyBugFlorida comes into the AfD to repeat the accusation, vote keep, and to link the article again (diff). The account has only made edits to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manny Cid.

This either looks to be a case of sockpuppetry or meatpuppetry. If more behavioral evidence is needed, I will do my best to provide some. I do not believe CU will be necessary, but I will defer to clerks on that. Thank you. Schrödinger's jellyfish ✉ 05:31, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

• Well, I could link Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Manny Cid. My behavior may have been slightly unprofessional but like I said I won't make it a habit. And to quote Schrodinger, Your aspersions and vaguely personal attacks aside - linking an external article in which you attack a Wikipedia editor is a major faux pas (which I highly recommend you strike out yourself by placing <del>...</del> around those attacks), in reference to LadyBugFlorida's conduct, I think sums it up. • This is easily one of the funniest things that's ever happened to me. I don't know if you saw but some blogger published a sweaty article claiming that the deletion discussion was a conspiracy by Daniella Levine Cava's campaign and digging into my edit history to try and find "proof." They even got a quote from Manny Cid himself backing up this conspiracy theory! And, of course, LadyBugFlorida suddenly linked that article on the deletion discussion talk page shortly after it was published. I've indefinitely blocked LadyBugFlorida for personal attacks, deleted the AfD Talk page per WP:G10, and removed LBF's comments (and other editor responses) from the AfD.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:31, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
