Even if the IP is user Kp3te, editing while not logged in is not in itself sock-puppetry. On the other hand, the IP should be warned and/or taken to WP:AIV. This is not the right forum for simple vandalism. Rhomb (talk) 07:30, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"editing while not logged in is not in itself sock-puppetry". Correct. But, per WP:GHBH, using the logged-in account only to edit his user page (the "good hand", while using the IP only only for vandalism ("the bad hand") is defined as sockpuppetry and an WP:ILLEGIT use of 'alternate' accounts.

"Good hand, bad hand" accounts: Keeping one account "clean" while using another to engage in disruption.
