Suspected sockpuppets

Valid* was indef'ed for disruptively adding a photo to an article. Casiotone came back after a 6 year break and immediately adds the same image back.[1] and is blocked for two weeks. Very likely, they are one in the same, as that is an impossibly odd article and controversial edit to just stumble upon by pure coincidence. My gut instinct says peeking a bit for sleepers is warranted as well. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 19:07, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The guy has had at least 3 apparent IP socks, emanating from different parts of England. Maybe he's pulling some shenanigans? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots22:21, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk endorsed - Matching diff of Valid* for comparison. A sleeper check is well-warranted considering that they aren't here for constructive purposes. This could also be MEAT.

  • From a technical standpoint, I'll have to say that it's  Unlikely that they're the same person. —DoRD (talk) 21:09, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • If I had known about this SPI earlier I could have saved DoRD the trouble of checking. On the basis of off-wiki information given to me in confidence, I am certain that this is meatpuppetry, but not the same person. Some hours before this SPI was filed I had already blocked Casiotone for two weeks. I see nothing more to be done now. JamesBWatson (talk) 08:52, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
