Possible block evasion from sockmaster Cagadhiig. IP comes with a precocious edit history consisting of adding the word 'teleiophilic' to four different pages [1], [2], [3], [4] before editing a page of interest of sockmaster [5].
They engage in similar levels of edit warring to sockmaster supporting the same narrative as sockmaster (i.e. insertion of Khatumo 'state' [6], [7], [8]) [9] (note OBSART). Kzl55 (talk) 22:49, 18 August 2017 (UTC)

Declined. Checkusers generally do not link usernames to IPs. This should be evaluated on behavioural evidence. --Deskana (talk) 20:15, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

- Precocious editing history, this is their first ever edit [10]. This very first edit happens to be on a page of interest to sockmaster with identical diffs months apart between confirmed sock and current sock [11], this also happens to be a case of WP:OBSART with the article Erigavo District receiving 169 views in the past 30 days.
Other examples of WP:OBSART include: Dharkayn Geenyo article, with editing by both confirmed socks [12], [13] as well as current sock [14] present in the edit history [15], very unusual a coincidence given the page received only 57 page views in the past 30 days (with the daily average being 2). And the article was actually created by sockmaster.
- Same interest in Burao's population:
Confirmed sock asking for action to be performed: [16] Action performed by current sock months later: [17]
- Same interest in pushing that Sanaag has 5 districts, a very specific point:
Confirmed sock: [18] Current sock [19]
- Other editing of obscure articles:
Bo'ame: Sockmaster [20], current sock [21].
- Examples of WP:IDENTICAL editing:
Khatumo State: Confirmed sock [22], current sock [23].
Erigavo District: Confirmed sock [24], current sock [25].
Dhulbahante: Sockmaster [26], current sock [27]
Togdheer: Sockmaster [28], current sock [29].
(and many more, I may expand the list if needed).
- Same disruptive editing style and edit warring:
Sockmaster: [30] Current sock: also blocked for edit warring Kzl55 (talk) 23:48, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

Cumarkeysecali and Cabdala Akram are already blocked as socks of each other. There's a few more accounts underneath but I didn't see any link to Buhoodle or any of the other articles. Pinging Yamaguchi as well, given the protection at Buhoodle. Sir Fuad is suspicious. Drmies (talk) 18:34, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
- Update: one of my reverts of Sir Fuad was reverted by another relatively new account, GeelJire (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki). Drmies (talk) 15:16, 12 April 2018 (UTC)

- Comment Based on their contribution history/articles of interest it does not seem that Geeljire is related to sockmaster Cagadhiig, an example of this is Cagadhiig's opposition to the inclusion of Somaliland [31], [32] which Geeljire does not seem to share [33]. Furthermore, Geeljire's contributions are mostly related to the Garhajis article, this is an entirely separate group from Cagadhiig's groups/articles of interest. I agree with @Yamaguchi先生: on Sir Fuad. Regards --Kzl55 (talk) 15:01, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
- Comment I'm baffled as to why i was included in this investigation. I undid your revision because the Dervish Capital today lies within the borders of the self declared de facto state of Somaliland, not Somalia , and that's where most of their campaigns took place. And Just for the record i am in no way connected to or affiliated with Sir Fuad or Cagadhiig, as KzI55 has already demonstrated. I'm confident that a CheckUser will also come to that conclusion. - Comment Reviewing the limited contribution history from Sir Fuad (talk · contribs) it appears that even if not engaging in block evasion per se, this is a single-purpose account created to engage in promoting Somaliland interests. With respect to GeelJire, I am not certain as there are a number of differences in their communication patterns with limited intersects. Pinging @Kzl55: as well, as they have better familiarity with this particular host of socks and may be able to provide greater insight. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 20:24, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
Clerk note: the case status was updated to CU at some point after filing (and the filer is a checkuser) but these accounts are already
Confirmed to each other:
- Cumarkaysecali (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki)
- Cabdala Akram (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki)
- but I don't understand how they're related to the sockmaster, they just look like vandalism accounts. Sir Fuad doesn't match this master's behaviour either but appears to match Habar Awal king, a confirmed sockmaster without a case, but who also appears technically related to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Loliban. GeelJire has also previously reported Sccsiciidafrica, another editor whose edits focused on Habr Awal. Are they all inter-related? Possibly.
Clerk endorsed - please check Sir Fuad versus any non-stale socks in any of those cases, such as Bayesedam, Haltshobe, Miledisco, Logoat, or Issa Musse. Thanks, and sorry for the mess. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 14:42, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
- The technical connection Cumarkaysecali and Cabdala Akram is very lose. There is even a third account that has edited on the same pages as the other two. It's either someone who knows how to evade technical similarities or this is a group of people. Sir Fuad is
Unrelated to those two, and while I don't completely trust the data,
Unlikely to the Loliban group. The Sccsiciidafrica group is completely
Unrelated to anything we are talking about. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 18:05, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
