Intersect is Battle of Philippeville, City pop, Evros River incident, List of city pop artists, Milutin Kukanjac, Provisional Irish Republican Army, Saur Revolution and Talk:Antifa (United States). Battles, political articles, Yugoslavian general and city pop being a rather unique intersection. There's also this edit to the sandbox, where {{Sockpuppet|Alexiod Palaiologos|Inactive}} is added in what be a rather random way, were there no connection between the IP and Alexiod Palaiologos. - That is indeed a pretty distinctive intersection. There's also the shared focus on belligerent-related information in infoboxen. As a distinctive edit summary we have the use of just "infobox" ([1] [2] [3] etc. / [4] [5] [6] etc.). Even if this isn't a sock, Wikipedia's sandbox is not a place to host your fantasies of genocide against queer people or ethnic minorities, nor to celebrate the murder of George Floyd, so this IP needs a block no matter what. Fortunately, they've been on the same static IP since April 20th, so let's assume they'll stay on it for just as long.
Awaiting administrative action for a five-month block, account creation disabled. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 04:06, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Clerk note: Just for the record, cross-referencing past discussion at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Empiricus-sextus/Archive. Also noting that I've marked the master as 3X-banned based on that, his second confirmed case of block evasion. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 04:48, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Administrator note IP blocked as requested. Nothing more to do. Closing. Cabayi (talk) 12:17, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

In evaluating the previous filing, I noticed these similar edits: [7] [8]. That got me looking into State Investigator Kurt Hartman. Also in the UK, also interested in East/Southeast Asian politics. Claims to be Japanese; Alexiod has some interest in Japan. Then I found Draft:Yangon Circular Railway Ambush (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs), which rang a bell, because when looking through 82.28's sandbox contribs to pick which horrifically bigoted edits would best make my point, I had found this draft infobox on the same niche topic. Comparison. The timing is just right for when things mostly died down with 82.28, too.
Blockable on behavioral evidence, but requesting CU against logged data due to the history of block evasion and to keep the trail alive. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 04:39, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

- Hello, I am State Investigator Kurt Hartman. I have read through what you wrote. The similar edits (Yangon Circular Railway Ambush) which I made were copied from the IP which you mention, and from there I added all the writing. I copied another edit from that IP address onto my personal sandbox here [[9]], but never built on it. I saw that IP quite often on the Wikipedia Sandbox. I don't have much of an interest in Burma/Myanmar, but edited a bit on the topic after I found the Yangon Police Ambush article. I simply edited on the same topics as users I saw (including the IP) to get a feel for how Wikipedia works.
- I am ethnically Japanese, both my parents are Japanese and I have a Japanese name (Kurt Hartman is a fictional name, taken from an anime character), but born in the UK and I have lived here my entire life. My father moved from Japan before I was born due to work. If another Japanese person breaks the Wikipedia rules, I am sorry for their actions, but it has no relation to me.
- When I first started using Wikipedia, a friend I know from Discord showed me most of the basics, including most of the major infoboxes (he is from Russia, name on Discord is Michael). He created the infobox for my own page, and helped me in creating the infobox on this article [[10]]. I added userboxes on my page on my own. He also explained to me what sockpuppeting is and how investigations work.
- On Wikipedia, a checksum user can check for IP addresses, but I would like to clarify that I use one from a university, which I assume many people share. Thank you. Kurt Hartman 16:39, 29 September 2021 (UTC)

- Between the draft, the edits to Public image of Joe Biden, the username, userpage ([11][12]), considerable amount of overlap, including on topics that aren't really related to each other (and down to the same tiny aspects of articles – [13][14]), this pair of edits [15][16] and some other stuff, this account
Looks like a duck to me and I have blocked it as such. --Blablubbs (talk) 17:32, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, Blablubbs. Just to clarify, I do think CU is still worthwhile for sleepers, for the reasons explained above. Overlapping between logged-in and logged-out socking suggests a likelihood of other sox. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 17:36, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
