I would like to point out a few things. First, Dreamy Jazz didn't uncover this user in their check. Second, there were multiple CU blocks at es.wiki by BlackBeast, but the accounts were blocked as socks of each other, not as socks of Remitbuber or one of their socks. Finally, Kanaessu, who has edited at es.wiki, although not the Balloon World Cup article, was not uncovered by BlackBeast in their check. None of this necessarily means that Julio is not a sock, but perhaps another CU is needed given these anomalies.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:08, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

• I'll let a clerk or local checkuser make a final determination on this, but, as I see it, the only basis for blocking Julio1906 as a sock is if one of the accounts confirmed at es.wiki has edited on en.wiki. • On October 17, I deleted Balloon World Cup per WP:G5. As I read the history, earlier on October 7, a brand new account Belgarion4321 created a draft of the article later edited by Julio1906 and then by another new account Carlos32005, both of which I've added to the suspect list. On October 21, the draft was moved to article space at WP:AFC. Just as with Julio, I do not think these new editors are socks of Remitbuber, but I do think that they are socks of Julio. Therefore, I am requesting a CU to compare the three accounts against each other. One of the two new accounts (Carlos) has edited at es.wiki, and the other has only registered there, but I am courtesy-pinging BlackBeast in case they want to look at it on es.wiki.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:07, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@BlackBeast: Thanks. I've added Rodolfo Gonzales Cruz to the list above. Are you able to confirm Belgarion4321 technically based on the creation of his account at es.wiki? Also, I don't know if you fuss about such things, but Rodolfo Gonzalez Cruz is the earliest account, both on en.wiki and es.wiki.   6. Belgarion4321 is  Unrelated to any other socks in this report (for the same reasons). This account geolocates much closer to socks in the archive and I'd say this  Unlikely to socks in the archive.

2 accounts made similar edits in same articles before re-directed.[1] I am doing this because I can tell you these 2 accounts also made some similar edits in other Wikimedia projects too. Commons Wikimedia tell me Freddyfox19 is a suspect sock of this user.[2] Another user JhilmarLora does follow the same user as well and made similar edits in similar sites too.[3] JTommyZ (talk) 03:04, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

• @Mz7: Regarding the Commons tag referenced below, Freddyfox19 was confirmed to Carlos32005 (Commons data here). I suspect I relied on the latter's en.wiki block rationale of "Abusing multiple accounts: Please see: w:en:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Remitbuber" when selecting the master for the tag. This came to my attention after deleting DjMaRiiO as G11, and noting that it had previously been deleted under G5. The version which I deleted ([4]) was nearly word-for-word identical to the sockpuppet created version deleted over a year ago ([5]), even down to the same idiosyncratic and highly unique phrasing and several of the same grammar, syntax, punctuation, and capitalization errors. Having looked farther, I have also found that the newer account (Augusto Martínez Rimarachín) shares several of the same interests of the sockpuppeteer, including Percy Liza (also edited by sock JhilmarLora), as well as the Jhilmar Lora article itself which was the account name of said sock, and show very similar interests such as, especially, YouTubers and soccer players. Given the clear behavioral evidence, I have already blocked this account as a sockpuppet, but am placing this here both for record keeping purposes, and to request a check. This individual is clearly a prolific user of long-term sleeper accounts, and if they are currently operating any others, a check may help to root those out.
