বিজয় চক্রবর্তী (talk · contribs) – I am Bijoy Chokroborti and I have edited a lot of articles related to topics like Bengal, Bangladesh, Bengali language, etc. I wish to be an administrator to help fight Vandalism and other kinds of errors on Wikipedia in a better manner. Questions for the candidate

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?

A: To fight Vandalism, and other kinds of errors on Wikipedia, to help keep the health of Wikipedia better! ^_^

2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?

A: As I am a native user from Bengal, I can help contribute Wikipedia in topics related to my region very best and develop them! Develop Bengal related articles more and more, So that Wikipedia's size increases :)

3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

A: Yea, I have had a couple of edit wars with unknown IPs, It also caused me stress, and want to fight more strongly against Vandalism by being an administrator!

2. Administrators are usually expected to have thousands of edits and years of experience. You don't have either at the moment, but I'd be happy to reconsider in a couple years. However, you seem to indicate that you'd use the tools against other users that you are in edit wars with, which is definitely concerning. 6. Oppose at this time. You registered on May 13th of this year and are applying for adminship with just over three months experience? I was going to be neutral until I saw the registration date. Many time editors with even a couple of years under their belt are not considered time tested. 2. You need a lot more experience. You've started well, and I've personally seen some very good interactions from you. Reaching out to other users and working with them is good, and I see you do that.

   But... Read some of the linked documents from WP:NOTNOW and try again later, and also take particular notice of the specific points about WP:NPOV, WP:WAR, WP:FRINGE raised above.
