Hi, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask this, I've never tried to edit a Wikipedia page before and I created an account just today for this. I was reminded of this kids show, Ni Hao Kai Lan, earlier today. However, when I went to the Wikipedia page the first item on the Contents list say "DO NOT EDIT A WIKI! THIS A VIEW SOURCE IS LOCKED!!!!" in bold and italics. It also claims that the first episode "was initially set to premiere in spring 1988 on Walt Disney Pictures in the United States," but every other source I've found says it came out in 2008, and I don't remember it being so old either. Finally, at the end of the page it says "The success of Ni Hao, Kai-Lan spawned its own video game series, supported by various gaming consoles and platforms:

Thank you!" I also owned one of the Ni Hao Kai Lan games, and, again, I know they weren't that old. It seems like maybe someone is recording some sort of video, setting something up or something similar? Anyway, it's ultimately not a very big deal, it's a small page about an old kids show that I don't believe ever got incredibly popular, but I was very confused, primarily since I know the wiki moderators don't ordinarily allow messages like that on pages. Does anyone know what's going on?

Hi, Khai who likes Snufkin, and welcome to Wikipedia! It looks like someone might have vandalized the Ni Hao, Kai-Lan page. I auto-reverted the last two edits in the "History" tab. I think it is alright now, but do tell me if I'm wrong; I don't know the subject, so I could easily be wrong.

Generally, if you have questions about editing, you can post at Wikipedia:Teahouse; if there's a more specific place to post they'll direct you to it. Even people who have literally been here for two decades now don't know where all the discussion forums are. You can also type {{help me}} in your posting; that's usually done in the article's "Talk" tab, because the discussions there are often sporadic. And you are welcome to post on my talk page (there's a link in my signature), but I'm not here all the time, so getting a reply will probably be faster elsewhere most of the time. Thanks again for the report! That page looked really bad, but because you took the trouble, it only stayed that way for two hours at an off-peak time. Alright, thank you for the advice! And I'm no expert on it either, I kind of forgot it existed for a few years, but when I looked at the updated page it seemed correct. I'm glad it was easy to undo and wasn't at a busy time, and thank you for looking into and dealing with it so quick!
