Keep or retarget as above. The redirect was created by me, and I am not associated with the scam. I mentioned the scam on the target page, but @Woodroar removed it because of Talk:List_of_video_game_console_emulators#Semi-protected_edit_request_on_3_January_2023. I've addressed that complaint and re-added the mention. The point of it and the redirect is to help readers find out that PCSX4 is a scam. I am indifferent as to whether the redirect points here or to the target proposed above. Sandstein 05:56, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies for the assumption of being associated with it. I also didn't know about that article, and I now agree with retargeting it. Anonymous from Stack Overflow (talk) 15:43, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blanked by Jacoblee628 with the edit summary removed the redirect; the korean wiki has its own page for this, i think it may be worth having one for it too in english, which is essentially a WP:REDYES argument for deletion. I personally have no opinion on the redirect at this time. signed, Rosguill talk 02:21, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep as a redirect with possibilities. While the Korean-language Wikipedia has two articles, the English-language Wikipedia discusses the historical building and the contemporary building in the same article. Therefore this is a useful redirect. :3 F4U (they/it) 02:58, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was no consensus. There is, however, a preference for creating a set index/dab page, as that currently serves readers better than the search results. (non-admin closure)Uanfala (talk) 12:04, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Allu Sirish; there is no reason I can find that it should go here. An anonymous username, not my real name 02:43, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Setindexify per above. At least in this scenario, Allu Sirish does not show up in the search drop-down and Sirish Gurung shows up far down the search results. A set index page is standard practice and a better bet. J947edits 00:20, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Setindexify as given name exactly per J947. Verified that Allu Sirish does not show up in the search drop-down, although it is the topmost result in the search results! I don't know if this is a bug or a limitation of our search tool, but this is just to counter SmokeyJoe's claim that the search engine is doing its job. I use the Default (and recommended) search mode. I also tried the Strict, Redirect and Classic prefix search modes, with same results. Also tried the search after logging out, which I guess defaults to the Default search mode. Jay 💬 07:31, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The drop down list should not be confused with search results. The drop down list is an auto completion tool with tolerances for misspellings. “Allu” doesn’t show up becuase it has no spelling similarity to “Sirish”. Creating redirects to cover over the clumsiness of the drop down suggestions doesn’t seem to me to be a good idea. SmokeyJoe (talk) 11:34, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did compare them, but was not confused between them. Mine was a response to J947's observation which was about the search drop-down. Typically, when I expect to find something in the drop-down, and don't find it, I assume it won't be found in the search results. We can use the search results only on clicking the magnifier icon, and going to a new page, or if the basic search does not return any result. Jay 💬 12:39, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Even more potentially notable stars that redirect to a constellation instead of the list of stars in Hydrus. π1 and π2 Hyi also cause circular links on the page. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 01:22, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
