The result of the discussion was disambiguate. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) 06:55, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect's title is too ambiguous to be associated with the subject's title. Jovanmilic97 (talk) 19:42, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wugapodes, there is a Steven Seagal: Lawman episode of Season 3, a Stephen Bronner book, a song on the From Dusk till Dawn: The Series soundtrack, part of the title of a TV series produced by Chris Terrill, part of the title of a novel by Dire Tladi. The result of the discussion was disambiguate. Consensus says disambiguate. Could someone please create said DAB page? Thanks ahead of time. (non-admin closure) James-the-Charizard (talk to me!) (contribs) 14:44, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There are dozens if not hundreds of plausible targets for this, and I'm having trouble seeing why a vote that probably isn't even going to happen should be the primary target ahead of (e.g.) 1995 Quebec referendum, the 2017 Catalan independence referendum, the 2006 South Ossetian independence referendum or the 2005 Curaçao status referendum, all of which (with the possible exception of Curaçao) were probably equally if not more significant. Even in the context of 2019 British politics, a putative referendum on the terms of the Brexit agreement isn't an undisputed primary meaning of "second referendum", not only was the 2016 vote technically the second referendum on EU membership (the first being in 1975), but the rise in nationalist support in their respective nations means there are second referenda on the status of both Scotland and Northern Ireland looming.  ‑ Iridescent 17:53, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Indian general election, 1985

The result of the discussion was delete. — JJMC89(T·C) 21:58, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is misleading due to the fact that there was not an Indian general election in 1985. There was one in 1984 and not another one until 1989. -- Tavix (talk) 17:10, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

WP:TOOSOON. Nothing is known about the 2029 Indian general election, thus the target is silent on the matter. -- Tavix (talk) 17:07, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target. Delete unless a proper justification is provided. signed, Rosguill talk 15:23, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ΜBlock Origin

The result of the discussion was speedy keep. Justification provided, withdrawing discussion as nominator. (non-admin closure) signed, Rosguill talk 15:47, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in the target, does not appear to be an alternative name and is an unlikely misspelling. I would suggest deletion unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 15:21, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It is there because uBlock was originally μBlock, as in the Greek letter "mu", for "micro" inticating its small footprint. Often it was called MBlock as an Anglicism for μBlock. The dev changed it to "u" in place of "μ" to avoid the confusion, which is why this redirect exists. It is needed. - Ahunt (talk) 15:41, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds reasonable, withdrawing discussion. signed, Rosguill talk 15:47, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was soft delete. Deryck C. 11:39, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't find any evidence on Wikipedia, Google search, or Google Scholar, that this is used as an alternative name for the target, and would thus suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 15:08, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. My search primarily gave a South African gold mining company. -- Tavix (talk) 00:06, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An internet search would not suggest that this software is generally known by the redirect name (and that there is possible confusion with other things titled Avgold which do not appear to be notable at this time). It also has almost no usage history, so I would suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 15:06, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target. A Google search for the term points to Lost Battalion (World War I); not sure if it's a likely intentional search term that should point there, or to Lost Battalion. (Used to be a substub, but it's clearly not worth having as an article.) Paul_012 (talk) 04:40, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
